I do indeed remember tape. I used to have a splicing machine and earned a few beers repairing snapped tapes for people.

Forms the main part of my collection. And I refuse to go online and download, I've only gone over to CD's in recent years. Think I've got close on a dozen now.

That's Mrs B off to Day Care and a bike, wheels etc loaded into the car. First iced windscreen of the season this morning but

Having a then off to unload and come back for more. It feels like the move is really on at last.. I'll fill the garage and box room and then clean down the last bedroom. After that it's a quick wipe down for bathroom and kitchen before the living room/diner. I won't spend too much time on the bathroom and kitchen as they'll be getting replaced as soon as possible.

I was thinking of a way to get a 2nd use out of some of the boxes. A lot of the boxes are quite big so I haven't been over filling to avoid the bottom falling out or just being too heavy to lift. I might try opening boxes when I get to the new place and filling some to full capacity to free others.

I don't want to just empty all the boxes as it may be a bad idea to leave things sitting around when all the cleaning and the start of the upgrade is underway.

Whatever I decide, it's a joy to be doing it at last.

Fog cleared here to give a clear sky around three. Too late for spotting Saturn & Jupiter passing each other though.

When it comes to using the boxes for a second time, can you not put stuff from/for the same room(s) in the same boxes.
