I would get a teasmade but no room
The tower I inherited still won't tell me there is a sound card..
no hair left so just left it lying just now..
driving me nuts, I 'll just buy a cheap one to baffle it.
Been a walk along the icy canal bank with Mrs M, very dodgy underfoot out..

You're going to have to show the tower who's the boss. That doesn't work, unplug and let it know you mean business. Would it know a cheap sound card, if it saw one?
We'd snow around 1/4 to 5 this morning, then it cleared. Now cooling down, 3.7°, and trying to snow again.

Hi folks 
, well, that's been one long day. I started at around 6am and besides taking a while I posted earlier, it's been non stop. I even got the asbestos survey done this morning.
Even the asbestos surveyor liked the location and the house! Quite literally everyone who has seen the house so far has commented positively about both the area and the bungalow.
When we bought the bungalow I asked the sellers if they would leave the cooker as ours in a built in unit and we're leaving it behind. When we took possession we found that the fridge/freezer and the washing machine had been left and I was a bit miffed but am now glad they did that as the units cleaned-up well and we were able to transfer what was in our fridge/freezer this evening. Our units can sit in the garage until the kitchen is built.
The removal firm phoned earlier to confirm their start time so all's good there so far. I'm looking forward to settling in.

Good to hear it's still going well for you.
Hope you're taking names, should you come home one day and find new occupants in it, you'll have a few names to go on.
