Good morning from a :cold: :hello:
Stay cool:ohmy:
Owdo

If it's as bad as you're trying to make out, staying cool shouldn't be a problem. You just nip outside for a bit.

Further "heavy snowfall" in the early hours, then a wee bit of colder weather.
Result: white ground with patches of tarmac showing.

Morning??

It was snowing very heavily at 6.30 this morning when I went out for my run - but that turned out to be a mistake! It was too dark to notice that one patch of sloping grass had frozen solid so when I slid on it, there was no way to stop the momentum and it took me down, driving my knee into the rock-solid ground. It was a good job it was near the end and not the start of the run. Still, it's non weight-bearing which means cycling will be okay until it gets better.

Ouch. I did that last winter. Apart from it being a bit ouchy, I tore a hole in my brand new 2XU running tights which was annoying!

Hope it heals up soon, and doesn't put you off early morning runs.
