You chucking the plates about in the kitchen after eating?
Never went as 'Greek' as that!

Kitchen wise it's the old 'white goods' that were left for us. The fridge/freezer temperature is nigh on impossible to control and the oven seems to be packing in completely.

Bathroom wise, the shower is worse than useless, the light sticks on or off at times so that's likely to be about to break and a plastic part in the cistern broke this morning.

I'm a bit nervous(pandemic wise) of all the tradesmen we've had coming in so I don't want to chase anyone, and have them in again, until we get our vaccines. Even the trip to get our jabs will have to change as this continuous rain, which is due to continue into tomorrow, is more than likely to cause flooding issues at a point on the backroad so we'll have to make a longer trip - at least that just means 16, rather than 10, miles each way.

It's all just little irritations - but they're mounting up.

What's the radiator like on the fridge/freezer?
A surprising amount of "grease" can build up on them, causing the fridge freezer to overheat and high on impossible to keep a steady temperature.

How'd you get flooding at the top of a hill? Is the rain that bad!!
Bring back the brass fittings, with replaceable parts. They at least can be fixed.

As for minor irritations building up, I've an idea of what it's like.

The floods are usually on the road shown in this video(our usual cameraman!). At 1:45 you can see the traffic dipping down into the area that usually floods. It's a great pity as that road takes you into the back of the hospital where the jabs are being done, without having to go into Belfast first.

It'll probably be gone come the morrow.
Sad thing is there's no-one out, and no sign anyone has been out. Not even kids.

Why'd you need 2,000 Bulgarians, and why go to Italy for them!
You seen the prices here?^_^
I tried a couple of UK printers a few years ago, too complicated dealing with them
best just using someone who is used to it all...

Forecast until Sunday has weather warnings:laugh:

I wish.

I'm starting to feel the need for a break but have to plough on.

Things in the kitchen and bathroom are starting to break and I'm waiting for the guys to give me prices and start dates. Mrs B is getting confused by the current arrangements and it was a nightmare getting her out to Day Care today. Pressure, pressure - let's hope the camel has a strong back!!

I knew it was going to be rough for a while so I just have to stick with it. Doing things like the path give me little victories and help me soldier on.
I was looking at photos (the other night) of our bathroom at our previous house, the before and after ones and what a difference, we'd a hiccup ( eejit plumber) but looking back it really was worth it, the same with the downstairs cloakroom, aye, worth the wait...when we saw the difference, the kitchen followed..
Worth the wait..

then we moved:laugh:

I've seen printers prices. You'd wonder how some have any business with what they charge.

You'll be waiting a while, if they're coming from abroad though.

We'll see what happens between now and the weekend, weatherwise, then decide.

Video!!

Blocking that road prevents any shortcuts being taken. Any word on when they'll be poking/prodding you?

Best to use a specialist in this field,
there are some reasonable options, I chose the LZ bloke as I recognised his call as I 'worked' him.
I have received plenty cards so I could compare various printers,
I'm waiting on the proofs as I sent the images for the front and back to him, trepidation but alterations are no problem...
the first lot are for IO75 then I'll get IO86 organised

:rain:again but if the temp drops:eek:

That's why your getting them from him, he doesn't want "working on" again!

Wires crossed somewhere..
1000 for old QTH
1000 for new QTH...
Just check 5 times worked, different modes and bands..
let's say I had 4443 contacts last year:laugh:
Google FT8 and that'll give you an idea...

Think I'll get enough food in tomorrow to avoid the yellow weather alerts:eek:

and liquid needs:laugh:

Wires crossed, me...

It's a card for each contact?

You've been told there's yellow snow on the way, down your way.
