I reacted badly to my flu jab two years ago,
but no problem since..
I just hate the sight of needles
I even close my eyes if they show them on the telly..

Let's hope these vaccines can give us some normality back soon:smile:
I'm with you on that one.

The scene at the vaccination centre was like something from a disaster movie and I think that's part of the reason why Mrs B got upset. At least she doesn't remember these things.

I noticed a report on the BBC pages that Matt Hancock took inspiration for the vaccine rollout from a disaster movie - it showed!

I have never had a bad reaction to a flu jab and for the covid one so far only a slightly tender bit on my arm.
I am well used to getting needles stuck in me as I get blood taken as well as B12 injections.
A bit like you tho' I look the other way when the needle approaches and I find showing the covid ones on telly a bit creepy.
The vaccination for covid was done at our local surgery and was really well organised but may have given the impression of organised chaos due to the number of people on the move and some rushing around.

Good morning:hello:

will have :cuppa: while I wait^_^

Run, you want me to run?
I'll just have to draw on my inner ninja ...

No snow still!
You'll know when it gets there
There'll be nowt moving, including yerssen.

Your other option is to play dead and make it think you're not worth chasing. Sneaking away when it's not looking.

'Morning all :hello:

Dry at the moment, but it looks like it could start raining again at any moment. There was quite a bit of flooding in the fields and standing water on the main roads in to Belfast yesterday.

Side effect report:

Arm more painful, although not bad.
Slight headache last night and this morning
Mrs B - nothing to report.

In other words - just like a flu jab.
Owdo

Bob awaiting snow, you the rain. Fog here.
If you'd stayed at your old address, would the flooding have affected it?

Sore arm and head, doesn't sound too bad.

You don't watch any hospital themed/based programs then. Just in case.

Normality, what's that!

It certainly has been a disaster down south led by an eejit...

My last practice was individual appointments with the practice nurse, nice and easy.
The new practice had it organised in a church hall, you could be blindfolded and know instantly it is a hall due to that slight musty smell^_^ but very efficient, hopefully this next jag is the same (and painless:laugh:)

I was on a hillside, flooding not an issue (after the golf course enlarged a run off) , it had just ran down a path affecting nothing though.
3.8c and 3 mm so not to bad....
a few more WX stations showing in a 10 ml radius so handy for seeing conditions if going out on the bike, IF I get out again, twice this year:eek:
my erse has now moulded this seat:laugh:

Carry on:okay:

Memory foam cushions. Could be handy, and less painful.

The old property was on a slight incline but lower than the road so there would have been a chance of some runoff from the road getting in to one of the garages - not the one I owned though!
Garage formed the ground floor, or seperate from the property.

Any damage caused by the flooding, that you're aware of.

The garage was separate but the lie of the land meant any water from the road reached, then pooled, the first garage, which did suffer from some water ingress on occasion. I don't think it was anything more than a nuisance, although it would have restricted storage near the door.
