It certainly has been a disaster down south led by an eejit...

My last practice was individual appointments with the practice nurse, nice and easy.
The new practice had it organised in a church hall, you could be blindfolded and know instantly it is a hall due to that slight musty smell^_^ but very efficient, hopefully this next jag is the same (and painless:laugh:)

I was on a hillside, flooding not an issue (after the golf course enlarged a run off) , it had just ran down a path affecting nothing though.
3.8c and 3 mm so not to bad....
a few more WX stations showing in a 10 ml radius so handy for seeing conditions if going out on the bike, IF I get out again, twice this year:eek:
my erse has now moulded this seat:laugh:

Carry on:okay:
Strange that church halls have that smell and it lingers for years even if the use has changed.
The covid jab was quick and completely painless. I think I am qualified to comment on that.^_^

When I get the call, I shall walk fearless

no, not, really..
I remember walking into an Irish pub the year they banned smoking inside (a year before Scotland) and was just taken back at the difference in smells where stale smoke had always been there.

Still rainy, rainy, rattle staney..

We once had a chalet we had booked for a Trade Fair at Aviemore when we stayed for nearly a week. We did not smoke then but the smell in the whole chalet was so bad we demanded to get moved to another one which they did reluctantly otherwise we were just going to move out and they could whistle for their money. Also since we had a lot of contacts at the Trade Fair it would have got them very bad publicity.

But will you be walking in the right direction!

They gonna have to bribe you to get you inside. And a lollipop for being brave.

Midnight to now, 26.92 mm.
not good if that amount turns to snow:eek:

I've just watched who knows how many casino, bingo ads on telly today.
I know only one person who plays the occasional hand of poker online, are people hiding the fact they gamble online?

An inch of snow in less than a day is nowt to worry about.

Think it's more a case of trying to cash in on the fact that the bookies are shut on the high street. Take their custom away.
