Yes, playing with the lawn raker and lawnmower. There is so much moss in the lawns that I think if I pilled it high the mound might qualify as a munro

.
The tiles have been part removed in the bathroom and we have the new shower and units in the garage - the installation will be after the long Easter weekend - in NI we stay open on Good Friday and close on the Monday and Tuesday(always thought it was a funny arrangement for a place where we feud so much about religion).
We're still waiting for news about the kitchen but I've had a painter in to look at the decorating job and I'm waiting for a quote. The painter has been doing work for our neighbour for years so he knows the layout as the bungalows are identical. I had a quick peek at some of his recent work and it looks good enough. The guy is happy to do the place in sections as we get it ready so that will take the bad look off some of the rooms sooner that I thought. Our replacement windows for the back of the house are ready and they might be going in next week too.
When we had the rewire done one of the young lads asked if I wanted a light at the front end of the garage as well as replacing the existing light at the back - to which I agreed. A couple of days ago I discovered he also put an extra double socket at the front - which I thought was good of him as it saves running an extension lead out to the drive. Little improvements.
The neighbours continue to be lovely and yesterday we found a Thornton's Easter egg and a bag of mini eggs on the doorstep! That felt like the Easter Bunny had paid a visit - turned out to be the lady to the left of us and she told me she gives eggs to all the houses at the top of the hill every year. How nice is that?
We also have a 2nd cat calling by at tea time - word that we give out cat biscuits seems to be getting around

. I think the 2nd cat may be feral as he is very unsure of people and quick to hiss and scratch. He's also a complete tomcat and that is unusual in these parts. The supposed feral in a nice all black fella so it'll be interesting to see if he tries to adopt us.
Mrs B has continued to deteriorate and doesn't always know me. A new thing was trying to put gloves on her feet, instead of socks, when we were getting ready to go out a while back. What to wear is an increasing problem for her, however, she isn't in distress as she seems to be oblivious to almost everything these days, ho hum!
As I said, lots happening and lots of stress.
