baseball recording all over the place, dunno if all that server downtime worldwide yesterday is affecting it, so I'll catch the rest later..
3 innings to go....
busy, busy plus all the cycling to catch up on.

Have to say I'm impressed with this GKN/Eurosport App
Lots of content, renews in Aug so wonder if price will stay the same..
I got the offer price, would pay the full amount if it stays there for next years..
Not just the races..
Just switch yerself off and sit down. Then you'll have plenty of time to catch up.
Wasn't it down for three hours, imagine if it were down a full day.

Good to hear. Feet up?

Well I don't know!
Worth getting that package for what you get from it.
Hair gone, feet up, beer in hand:ohmy:
Aye, 162 live games if I wanted to stay up...
Works out at 70p per game and I can watch any other game, live or on catch up,
I could watch baseball 24 hours per day if I want
plus I get extra content plus all the play-off games...
My options for later

Two seperate package. I thought they were one combined. Either way, for what you watch it seems worth it going on the above.

Yer hair'll return in the morning you reckon? Or wishful thinking.

Got up this morning..
switched on TV, gone to app and voila, the overnight game now in it's entirety^_^
The cycling one is separate^_^
It looks like streaming services may be the future with Disney and Discovery pushing theirs heavily, will Sky and cable hold on to these channels or a watered down version.
I could get Freeview, MLB, GCN+ and Discovery and would cover my needs...

Owdo
No sun in sight means very little chance of noticing the eclipse on just over 1/4 an hour.

Good to hear you got up...
I'd say it's another symptom of the last 15 months, a bigger audience available. Real test would be after this mess has sorted itself out. Would they keep their prices similar, or just up them, by a fair bit, after the first year.

Morning??

I think they have to stay competitive, folk aren't that daft..
A cheap broadband deal with no house phone, what TV stuff I mentioned earlier would do me..
and be much cheaper than what I have..
I had a free year of Apple TV- never used..
Disney through an app share - never used.
Prime - I watch anything Grand Tour related, I made the mistake of attempting to watch the Eddie Murphy latest thing, 10 mins at the most and seriously abysmal..
LBS out the door with repairs, I'll get by just now....

They'll have had a year to get used to/hooked on them though. Subscription runs out, will they want to keep it at extra cost. Especially if they cut what they're showing.

Similar situation with the local bike shops, demand has outstripped supply. One is still giving frontline workers priority on repairs, with low cost loan bikes.

Have you seen some of the reality dung they show esp Discovery...
it would be different if only one or two choices but with Netflix, Prime, Disney, Discovery and one or two others for competition keep the price down, Nat Geo and some other channels are looking like they are going to be lost to Virgin Media, don't know what Discovery have planned.
We'll see.

Good to see bike shops so busy though.
I can wear the parts out:laugh:

Discovery went downhill before they started Discovery Plus over here. Re-runs of re-runs. How many times can they show the same person just getting missed by a tree being chopped down?
National Geographic were supposed to be following suit with their own streaming/catch-up service. Not heard anything of it sofar though.

Virgin Media will depend on what deal has been struck with O2(Telefonica UK).

Riding a bike with worn out parts will wear your parts out. Spares not available!!
