Morning all:hello:
Now you're doing it yerssen, is it worth it?
These fella's that were going to be doing it, did they also happen to have a bit of tarmac going spare.

I think price has gone up with demand, over the last year. More not wanting to have to cut the grass every month, so they've replaced it with decking.

You'll be trying a few hills on the morrow.

And don't crumble.
I like grass..
something about it..
after a lifetime of cutting acres of it, I don't mind 30 mins a week..
More that enough wood isn't getting into the country

The original quotes were the same price I'm paying for wood.
I'm cursed, just found a skelf:laugh:
I don't mind the work but they would have flown through it with the nail gun,
I'm using screws:laugh:
and a drill that lasts for 20-30 slats:sad:

tarmac, outside roads are still get their top finishing layer..

Morning. Bit gloomy at first but the sun is trying to break through here now.

I took the hybrid up to the Turret Dam this morning. God that's a pull up but worth it for the views. Already a mix of 7 cars and camper vans parked up even at that time. I dread to think what it will be like by afternoon.

Good on yer..
I imagine Chonzie gets busy..any time.
Someone here is off 'munroing' tomorrow (not me) after the three a'Ghlo ones midweek,
think I would struggle badly now..

Sun is breaking through so a :cuppa:then back to the fence..
Once I'm finished I've just been reminded I have 29 to fix, doesn't sound many but trust me.. then (hopefully) I'll either watch Le Tour or head out for a short lap of the nearby area..

That's you. Decking and/or gravel has been put in over a dozen gardens round here, replacing grass, so far this year.
Grass is green, takes you back to nature.
Now yer saving money, doing it on yer own(under supervision).
Skelf, anything like a skelp.
They'll have had a better drill, you could have "borrowed" before they finished.

They had a ready supply to do your drive then. They'll be round, soon.

Anyway, Morning??

Has it managed it yet?

Will you be making a return visit today, or just slobbing out for the day.

All done,
a wee bit of jiggery pockery at one bit but all is well..
the Sun appeared round the yard arm as I started but no need to cut any slats, the builders ask that fencers here to use slats 1.6m tall only which isn't handy as they are 1.8m as a common size, weird but a wee bump with a mallet(rubber) helps, original job quality varies.
Just a touch up now of the odd slat with fence paint.
Mrs M job^_^
Skelf - splinter of wood:wacko:

Think I'll have :cuppa:

You giving up your fencing training then.

I'm sure you'll find summat to occupy your time, once you've attacked the grass again.

You'll get it going. Whether you go with it is another matter.
Just keep at the inclines in yer upper gears, they'll "vanish", in time.

The kneeling and it being a Sunday are connected.

That lot'll take more than 15 minutes.
