Thought decaf had no caffeine in it. Is it just a reduced amount?
Still a small amount in it. Handy to wean off with but if you totally want to quit all caffeine you really need to stop decaf too.

I'm not too bad, don't drink coffee, less caffeine in a cup of tea, compared to coffee.Still a small amount in it. Handy to wean off with but if you totally want to quit all caffeine you really need to stop decaf too.

One positive already then. On to the next one, and the one after that...Hoping it improves my sleep. It’s already reducing headaches so even that is a good result.
Clean inside and out...
Didn't most of us do just that. None of this "its not safe" malarkey.
We used water, with a little bit of soap for those stubborn bits.
Take a look at the "advanced" models they do now. Then compare it to the Meccano "Super Models" of days gone. There's no real comparison that can be made between the two.
Advanced because it contains a motor!
Some of the "Super Models" had a live steam engine, or two in them.
Your not the oldest Mhor!
Do they still have their Lego to pass onto the youngest?
You think you might start on the Airfix kits again. Idle hands and all that...
How big a square, or two.
Whatever yer reason, and joking aside, hope it works for you.
Started around my birthday on 5th May, but used decaf for a week or so then quit completely.
He took the airfix kits that you were left with! That's a bit extreme.I meant oldest Mhor child (mid 30s)
My kid's toys were all boxed away by their mum,
Beag was playing with his grans bath toys the other night
I really only enjoyed the small models, you had to go early Sat morning for the new models, Woolies must have sold some amount as shelves were empty late afternoon

Boxed and ready to be passed on?
In the tin bath, in front of the fire. No water obviously.
I'd a paper shop that sold them less than 100 yards from the house. Always had a few hanging from the roof of the shop.
Woolies would have been a third or fourth choice. Three decent model shops in the town centre, now only one place selling them.
And the price of them...
Paper shop was in my case. Woolies meant a trip into town. Making it as accessible as the other shops.Woolies was easiest and cheapest to get to..
Model shop prices were something else plus the place had a surly demeanour,
felt as if young 'uns shouldn't be there..
You remember these things..
treat young uns well as they have years of buying power ahead.
OwdoGood morning, fine people
Sounds corny but I am going to enjoy a sundae today..
Enjoy your![]()

Used one, under its various names right up until 2013*, when it finally shut.
Found that most had some staff with the attitude that I shouldn't be there. They'd be watching from the moment you entered, right up until you left.
Usually went round them all to see which had the best price and bought from them.
*Ended up working there for just shy of seven years, up to that point.scrubber
Doing something like that always annoys the rest, especially if they've tried to sell it and failed. But for the new boy to come in and sell not one, but two of them must have really hurt some.My first job was a message boy where I had to go daily to depot in Glasgow and pick up spec orders and photography kit stock.
Big bag and a train ticket..
I then also had to help out behind the counter..
I sold this awfy expensive asahi pentax in my first week that they couldn't shift, cue raging green eyed monster from the underling, manager was ecstatic, another promptly picked up AND a bloke came in and asked for me....and yes, off it went.
Cue underling trying all tricks to get me fired..
eventually I got an apprenticeship (never completed) but the big boss offered a fair bit more money to stay..
I'll not say my parting words to underling.
I'd noted and gave written copy to big boss of what he had tried,
he got the spanish fiddler soon after.
Anyhow a wet tour of Bob's plantery,
going to have a clear out of what left..
family will take everything.

Was your parting advice, to the underling, along the lines of sex and travel advice?
Oddest high value sale I got was for a £1,000 of track(Hornby). Phoning the rep to ask if it could be done wasn't the best call made. Later got his boss and Simon Kohler in the shop, totally unaware of who they were at the time.
Best call received was from one of the other shops. The manager* dropped a locomotive that we didn't sell, as he tried to fit a piece not made for it. Quick call to an independent shop for a replacement just rubbed it in.
A tour of "Bobs planetary", "clear out", you going somewhere. Awaiting the answer to a phone call home!
*Sounds similar to your underling in how he reacted to others doing something he'd not been able to.
Yer plants, makes sense. I thought you'd put planetary.Plantery..
my plants..
hose out yer eyes...
brought some perennials on from mini plugs and they've taken off,
middle child will accept..
time to put sunflower at front door
I worked in retail a couple of times and enjoyed it...
WX here hasn't a clue what it is doing,
nor I just now![]()
