I get access to the info i upload..
I also get a file from another website with the month's readings,
This is an extract..
View attachment 776689
It does occasionally get wee blips, but it is live info being uploaded to the website.

I'm about to YouTube the video I took through part of Glencoe. Long story why I played the soundtrack of Saturday Night Fever whilst I used my phone to film..
I'd have thought access to what you upload would be standard practice, that wouldn't be an extra.
Your own file or someone else's for comparison purposes?
The wee blips the cause of the blank spots. Me, I'm old fashioned by comparison, I look out the window to see what it's doing...

You realise you'll have to provide a link to what you put up on da tube.
"Movie man Bob" he shoots, directs and cuts all on his own ...

Good morning campers :hello:
One minute, the sun was blinding me, then dull..
Someone is at it..
Enjoy your day:cuppa:

Nah, all info freely available..
The 24/7 one just has fancy charts and dials etc etc...

My file, 15 mins and over 1gb...
I had to do some editing so won't upload until later..
I don't think it'll appeal, a 15 min excerpt of a drive with a Saturday Night Fever soundtrack:laugh:
The latest YouTube editor is a shadow of what they once had sadly.....

Off today again, flowers day..

You like free as well, almost as much as dials to twiddle with...

HD video then.
I said you did the cutting. You tidy the floor after yer editing.
Limited appeal, possibly, but you might get a surprise these days, you never know.
Couldn't you edit it before you uploaded to you tube?

Ones to grow or that have been grown.
Enjoy yer trip.

Back just over an hour ago..
left early, then a quick detour to check out new windfarm car park...
Another excuse, I know the area very well but Mrs M has never stood on my ultimate favourite hill, but soon will....

I did edit first, then just used the YouTube editor to clip the first 6 seconds off it, but YouTube does lower the quality dramatically, which is fair, some s*** is uploaded (like from me). Last night's upload was to HD, but today seems to be SD. Oh well.
Owdo, site fee's please
What were it doing the last time you looked...
Maybe new batteries required!
Oooh I'll try ...

Looks quiet enough
The poles either side of the road, does the snow ever get that deep? The summit at 2.20 is that where you want to get Mrs M to go one day.

Not that long back
You'd already hit the road when you posted earlier...
Does the windfarm stand out too much/ spoil the area?
That one at 2.20! How's your accident insurance.

Nowt exciting in those first few seconds... This lower quality, any idea how long they've been doing it?
Put one or two cycling videos up, then removed them because of the picture quality on there.

The snow does get pretty deep at times,
I don't fancy that job...
There are snow gates on each side, E and W.
The east one is at Tyndrum a few miles away....

I remember not getting out one Sunday and spending an extra night under canvas and woke up 6am to see the odd car heading E, the tent quickly dropped and hidden well and I managed to thumb a lift out and as we passed the E gates, they were about to close them once every one had got through...almost another night (in the pub LOL).
Luckily the tent was still there as I made a trip up with the future Mrs to retrieve it.
I tried to spot the bothy we ended up using, but the video edit I made on YT must have done something, I'll go through the original and check.
I've posted photos from the late 70s in the past of Bob and the campsite (site is the right word )
Mrs M almost got to the top, two days after we betrothed to each other (day after Chuck and Di), got the hard bit out of the road, and we just headed back down....
I've been on quite a few occasions, last time June 2014....

A different nondescript hill above the Clyde,
nowhere as near spectacular as the Buachaille.
A place I spent countless visits as a yunk, and I used for radio stuff a lot..
They have placed a windfarm on the E slopes, plus a little car park up from the road means a lot easier access now for a couple of pensioners...

Quality has gone downhill, I've uploaded who knows how many videos, two accounts I think..

Hard enough to drive on as well.
Which job...
Wonder if folk ever reopen them thinking they mean nothing, then get stuck after realizing too late they WERE there for a reason.
Walkable then?

That waking moment always seems to be shorter when you think there's something amiss.
How long after was it before the tent were collected.
You could have been stuck in the pub for days... Do you reckon you'd have coped.
A night in a bothy probably wasn't what she was expecting when you promised her night away.
A site that has to be seen to be believed.
One way to remember where you were on the day, if nothing else.

If it were below the Clyde it'd have been impressive...
Won't the windfarm interfere with yer radio.
Maybe they'll think yer a spy. Especially if taking pictures.
Save the olde knees and ankles.

I gave a couple of calls out this morning, but no takers..
Either
1. No one about at that hour
2. Jeez, it's that boring old sod..
3. The radio wasn't working..
My moolah is on 2.

My mate and I had permission for the bothy..
TBH it was a dry but freezing place
(found a piece of inch foam under the sleeping bag worked a treat)
Married or not, she'd have to sleep outside..
Permission for this one was hard-earned and a rare privilege..

I'd say no-one about at that hour. Busy elsewhere...

It wasn't the future Mrs M that was with you! It sounded the ideal country getaway as well. Just not what she were expecting.
Only stayed in a bothy once, and aside for the cooking, I used the tent. As drafty inside as out. The three inch gap top and bottom of the door didn't help.
Does/did she know that she'd ne sleeping outdoors from time to time.
Permission hard fought for, and won, I take it.

I found the tent was the best option, but a solid roof over yer head in rain and snow was the deciding factor.
It did rain a lot with plenty snow in the winter months..
Remember every second week in the winter as well.
We may have cancelled the odd one, knowing the forecast...
It was happy times...

We had spent more than a few weekends under canvas before we married, but using campsites with proper loos...peat bogs were not the chosen scene...

Another earlyish jaunt, local this time...
Toodlepip !

Smaller space to heat, and you can limit any breeze inwards in a tent. A solid roof over yer head in snow, I'd agree is preferable to canvas. It gives a reassurance that a tent can't.
Rain, a lot, on this island, never!! Don't seem to get the snowfall we did back then, you should be safer now.
Did you ever try swapping weeks, just to catch the weather out? Was every second week the plan when you started, or did it sorta fall that way. Away from the city, into the fresh country air. At one with nature...
You'd do it again if able?

She knew she was getting in with someone with wandering fever then. In a tent any bad habits really can't be ignored either. Suppose you also used campsites that had showers and water on tap as well...
Peat bogs, could be fun getting back to the tent from the pub!

Enjoy yer days jaunt...
