I understand the need to be doing summat. Stop you growing roots in yer chair preventing injury due to thumb twiddlin...
Surprised you've found time to do it though.
The mornings being yours being the reason you head out early. Maximise the use of the time available for the GC's...
We'd a GC with a butchers and farm shop on site. Not certain if it's still going as I've not been that way for a while due to various road works/closures.
Wanderin is good for yer...

Aren't usb sockets "on" by default when the machine is on anyway?
Would changing the way either is set up be worth changing anything for. 3 - 4 years ago, they're shoving on a bit now.

You need more traffic to make it worth yer while, but in order to get more traffic an aerial(and associated coax cable(s)) would help. Catch twenty-two you got yersself into there.

Coax?
Just need a very short length, a foot would even do at that frequency. A run of coax for that frequency would be expensive, but the units work on Bluetooth, so the only need would be to take the unit offline to charge the battery for a few hours, say every four days, and voilà...
It would work only slightly better up in the attic.

On some motherboards, yes...
I'll maybe look back into it soon
One of GC visits has an excellent veg place attached,
not the supermarket style of everything the same size, diameter and colour..
more yer old all over the place shape and colour stuff, as the supermarkets call wonky.

That stuff that used to be used(before wireless connections) to join yer aerial to your set. A foot enough to get it through the ceiling? I know they said keep all connections as short as possible, but isn't that pushing it...
Bluetooth, no messy holes in yer ceiling when you move things around later.

I thought that was the appeal of "plug and play" usb, always ready for use. Now yer saying you need to turn them on first!
Supermarkets have a lot to blame for on the veg front. Uniform size, shape and colours, whilst in real life that seldom happens. I've a feeling we'll be seeing a bit more of the "wonky veg" this year and paying more for it to boot.

Coax can be lossy at 868 Mhz..
I've also used USB cables before to carry infos as less lossy
a short piece even 3 to 8ft isn't that bad but I could get away with 5 to 6 ft if I brought it through the ceiling (there are quite a few coax cables coming through just now)
I sent myself a photo of my coax input at corner of ceiling but taking its time to arrive

It's down to each manufacturers wishes if they enable them as long as power is still reaching the tower.
Veg place we use is good..
slightly dearer than the achtung superplaces..
In a certain supermarket with partners today, got a couple cans of tinned sardines, some posh foreign brand at £6.75p per tin..jeez..
Free coffee is good though

Power, signal or both?
Makes sense if it loses you less.
And above in yer attic, the cables are just getting longer and longer, safe in the knowledge you'll not be paying them a visit ant time soon.
Not sent by second class post!

True enough, but if it's not got something I need/want I'd be leaving it where it was.
Most are now. The chancers seem to have realised it's not as easy as it looks to keep the stall packed.
Give them a chance, achtung superplaces will soon match them in price.
We'd one giving free food out in front off the others new store in the first few days of opening. Store wars about to break out...
How big were the tins you bought. £6.75!!
Always.
