The thing is, these salmon run the gauntlet of boats then run the rivers, breed and die.
Limits are now in place to keep the numbers up as it's quite a necessity to have a strong fishery.
Excellent on a sandwich...
Must admit tuna in oil or smengles in oil are my fave, wee dash of salad cream occasionally esp in the Toona, well-done toast adds to the smegels.
In other news, a new node picked up this morning, must have been signal bouncing off yon big metal beasties.

Coming back this morning, the two girls in their seats in the back, we stopped at Maccys and I got Toodles Snr a McFlurry..
the wee yin was devastated but she's far too young for one. We tried some treats, but no, the looks we got could have turned milk, that idea is out the window......coffee is off the menu on the way home too.

I see big wind and rain promised at some point.

Yon base? handy for cases of stuff like Schlitz (the best US beer), Bob whistles
Couple of garages on the mainland had a US Navy pump, jeez, cheap ? so cheap they were giving it away esp after yon petrol price massive rise in '73? was it...

Schlitz was discontinued, more likely because it made the other what makes Milwaukee famous brews pale into insignificance, as US beers are not my thing...I've a few of their wee trendy IPAs and nah...
I'm off experimenting....

We get use of the place, non scouts about...
It's handy to get a pizza though...
Dunno 'bout down your way, but local town centres here would be half empty if no takeaway shops...
I mean plus the hairdressing shops as well.

Bloke I 'printed' the base for the maker circuit and is planning something using Morse code, the microbits can show the letter after you dah dit it, quite impressive if you really want to learn, a long time ago. I could send and receive 14-15 words per minute, but all gone now..
It was just an ideal for a test piece with its height, sloping curves etc.
Surprised at how well it printed TBH...
He's designing an 'improved' version ..

Up to 8 nodes now after today's jaunt out, funnily Espana and a Pole in there, think I can filter out foreign ones, but hey, this will do just now, there must be 'repeater'/'router' node nearby me....
Permit gets sent by email with a Q code thing they scan....
Mrs M looks nothing like me.
