The madness that was Halloween is over...

Good morning
Today at the Towers is a day of rest.....from all distractions.

They'll soon be after the penny for the guy...
Did the dinosaur, cat and pumpkin do okay last night.

It didn't sound that bad during the night...
I'm not going out anyhow....

They all returned with some 'swag' and excited, the wee yin thought when folk opened the door, she should just walk in
Mrs M had gotten some old style sweets, so a trip down memory lane with Parma Violets, Love Hearts et al.

It's tough with a 2 and 1 year old who want to drink and eat everything, good appetites they have...
Think granny got half of hers, the rest shared after they ate theirs..
It's all good fun.

Another nozzle change, hopefully the correct one this time, later, maybe...

We funnily never see many birds here, I saw a doo (pigeon), a George (woodpigeon), crow, blue tit and a possible Goldfinch sighting...almost in the countryside too.

She turned up with her bucket today to show how much she ended up with.
She got most of what her wee sister got....

It was too busy, cars drive here and drop loads of kids off, then wait for them...

The original nozzle has a longer thread; the new short thread nozzle printed okay, but wondering if the extra area inside may have held on to more after it finished. We'll see.

Sounds as though you're catching us up. Dry for most of the afternoon, once the early morning rain finished.
There's plenty of seagulls to be seen, along with the crows they've driven the pigeons away. Seldom see as many varieties as I used to. Most are gone. And thinking about it the Canada Geese have been missing so far this year.

Toodles snaffled what her younger half got. Is that fair! Who'd she pick that up from?
Round here it's been full sized bars, not a few loose sweets for years. It can get sorta expensive. We'd over a 100 did the street last night. There's not that many living round here!
Mischief Night were always the bigger night round here, as a kid. Never halloween. Then collecting for the guy in the run-up to bonfire night.
They were round in gangs, with adults with them, to make certain you gave them something.

Thought you'd swapped it once already?
You'd never think something so simple could make the difference.

They're all after "their share" of what's out there. Sadly customer service gets further down the list every year. Suppose you can't find anywhere with tennis, what'll you do?

Good to hear yer following advice given by the nurses...
Could you manage hopping around on yer good leg...

Food outlets scarce/expensive on the Costa Clyde then.

Someone was collecting for a hospital recently, but apparently had the name wrong, and I think apprehended.

Too young to suck on a lolly even. You could alternate it with her.
I'm 50 odd(some very odd) miles from the coast though.
Maybe next year yo can dress up as the guy and spend sometime in the wheelbarrow, as they rake in the money.
"Charity wrist band sellers" were the last ones "collecting" down here. No connection with who they said they were selling on behalf of. Hopefully they've been apprehended, the money went straight into their pockets.

Old versus the two new ones? The genuine ones you ordered arrived yet.
Suppose you can't get tennis anywhere else. What'll Mrs M do!

It'd keep the weight off the bad leg. Might not look very elegant though. Here's to an end for a need to visit the nursies, they may not require as much blood from you either.
