I get the data from the Bob'o'Meter sitting here..it has a wee trendy consule which lets me see in real time everything ( computer as well).
Different nursey today....
Bob was playing a joiner today, except my main tools were at one of my lots house.. Mrs M happy at what I bodged...
Two more to fit, had to saw bits off to fit the last..
No doubt, a journey to nearest battlefield site (1312, a hint)..
Bargains for home GC.. cheap and cheerful.

Aye, time is MARCHing on..
All at yer fingertips, with the minimum of movement from yourself...
Picking up where the Irish one left off. All good, or as good as to be expected?
T'weren't whilst Toodles watched on were it! She might go getting ideas for her veterinary practice...
Don't they ever return stuff... As long as Mrs M were happy with the fruits of yer labour.
Two still to do, so another trip, with the right tools this time, on the cards.
You get the trip to yer 1312 battlefield in.
Home GC, you selling on.

Don't let April fool you...

it would be blinding in the summer..
Just about to do some garden stuff..
Enjoy your day (except the usual suspect)

I wish, I'd like a S facing house with a 15m high beam install, preferable one which goes up and down..
but no, this is the Towers and I'm staying as its an excellent hub for the Mhors, all with 15 -20 mins travel away..

Still need another two panels or whatever they call them but normal no faffing abouts, just screwed to the fence.
Today will be JO51JO31potting on Sweet Pea seedlings and maybe a quick prune of a couple of shrubs etc etc..

Got some bloke on the top of the world somewhere last night in the locator HR48aa (maidenhead locator), bet it's cold there, he 's on a tour of bases..
Called out on a near empty band on HF and got a Spanish reply so good start to the day.

Comes in handy for when you've got settled and don't want to move.
Would it make any difference which way yer house were facing for the aerial/mast. And what's wrong with raising/lowering it manually as and when required!
Yer new, albeit five years old, home. Do they all come to visit at the same time, forcing you outside with yer kippers...

Get them before the prices go up...
A "potty day" at the towers, and it sounds as though you've a day off as well. Suppose there's a cold snap, as they keep on warning us. Will yer peas have a chance.

Literally or figuratively speaking about being on top of the world. He might be used to it by now.
You didn't expect any by the sound of it. Maybe they were waiting for you...

Yes, I did use the strimmer (with long trousers on), learnt my lesson
Just a 'top' of the grass, not much really came off, frost possible overnight...
Neighbours probably twitching curtains thinking I'm mad...
Would I mean thee?

S, would open up my options, I can already work most of any Jock station but need the wee help to get darn sarff...
I'm lazy.....or I suppose Mrs M could do the winding
6 years here....doesn't seem that long...08 percent of my life...
I'll have them in my wee cheapo mini greenhouse, if a longer colder snap? inside the garage with daylight bulbs, it gets to around 8c in very cold WX. I'm planning to do them tomorrow.

KIppers? good idea..
It would be kippers first, visitors last..

Look what happened to J. Cagney when he shouted 'Top of the world, ma !'
Spoke to a bloke in a plane this afternoon, It's now legal.

Well if your strimmer were wearing long trousers, I could understand the curtains twitching and yer neighbours thinking yer mad.
Not much to rake up after then.
Slight frost here last night, I'd say another tonight, still fairly clear skies. Here at least.
You might...

You wanting a directional aerial then?
When yer foot improves and yer reunited with Polly, yer'll be able to travel further afield on yer own. Keeping Mrs M's chauffeuring skills for longer trips.
Or install a motor to wind in, raising it as and when needed, thereby saving Mrs M's arms and hands. It'll lower itself.
Six years, not five... Time flies when yer having fun...
Tomorrow!, what happened to doing it today?
Is it a new mini cheapo greenhouse thingy, or the same one as last year. What wattage bulbs do you plan on using, out of curiosity.

Do them inside, drive everyone outside.
There's a chance the youngest of the "Toodle Twins" might take a shine to yer kippers as she did with yer porridge. Then where will you be?

What happened, if I remember right having not seen that film in years, he ended up being shot before falling.
Only legal now. Two way communication wasn't allowed between ground and aircraft?
Where were plane, and he, headed do you know.

I could cut off a leg(off me breeks) for the strimmer,
will have to take the hem up a bit though...whaurs ma thimble?
I have plenty directional ones but this would be a BIG mofo, TV antenna is same type (Yagi)...
Mini greenhouse was a cheapo out of one of the German shops..
A mouse could stand up in it..a sort of vertical cold frame...
I'll get them done today, I got up early to make a medium sized loaf as yesterdays got scoffed (two slices left for toasting)
Tried some posh sounding bread flour and it failed miserably, it needed a blue pill, twice the price of 'my works every time stuff'
Oh well.

Not sharing my kippers with nobody....

It's now apparently legal, I saw it mentioned on the latest directive,
not far away, he was at 1700ft (I could see the plane on my radar page), he was a passenger in a 2 seater..
left Kinross and was heading back by the look of it, I never checked later..

Correct on the White Heat reference....
the grapefruit scene, imagine that being used today?
Youngest Ms T will be here in 90 mins so off to enjoy the quiet....
Came in as a offer to the governing body for them changing something (2024)

Morning fellow scallywags :hello:
'Tis a chilly start but NONE of that so far..
Mutt Office had it 80% chance at 8am, we'll see...
Have a nice day, y'all hear:cuppa:
Owdo this fine morn...
Cool start here, looking as though it'd be a warm one later. Easy double figure day.
Well, t'has gone half past that and there's no sign yet. Maybe the Mutt Office got things wrong...
I'll try, okay?

Only giving it one leg, it'll look odd.
Most thimbles now are of the rubber, not metal, variety. Not much use in sewing.
Don't want to do things by half measures, do you. You sound as though yer'd be wanting to copy the one near me. Ten foot plus "satellite dish" type do you?
I've an idea of the sort you mean. Various lengths of plastic tubing, with trays and throw over outer cover. If it does the job...
Unable to get a rise... Could you still eat it or just use it to attract the birds to yer garden.
Proof that fancy names mean little these days. Will you be popping along to the corner shop for more or just a loaf.

Suppose she decides she wants to try them. Could you really ignore that innocent face looking at you, whilst you tuck in, without giving in...

Only a small one then. None of the larger commercial ones going overhead. You wave to them?
Down to half an hour by now...

Used to watch them all. Wanted to see it now it'd probably be in "boxed DVD set" of his movies. With an 18, possibly 21, age limit, along with warnings of extreme violence and scenes not suitable for minors.
Doubt they'd be allowed to use it in a remake, thereby ruining the movie entirely.

A bit more agreeable temp wise the noo, just under 5c..
Moon sitting stately about the Towers....
Tomorrow is bound for light rain...

Very little had came off the grass, just a tip nip.
Some rough grass present, Mrs M wants another big bag of chips down therefore taking some of the green stuff away.
Big original plan was all chips (no sauce or vinegar) but second thoughts, I'd have been happy just walking about fortnightly spraying anything green.. weedkiller

Band has just died so logging time.....
Nah, I traced it back and found my record of it, prog only gives me yesterday and todays flights...I have a database which I back up occasionally, gives me first contact and last one, might do it tonight as much less liable to crash if quite a few planes on it. I might stick the short QSO on YouTube as I videoed it..

Funny today, Auntie's birthday tomorrow and she got sweets amongst other things from the kids, Auntie held a packet of sweets and youngest ran towards shouting 'Me Me Me Me Me', I think she was wanting one...

I did wave to a small plane which was flying lowish overhead and it was neighbour across the road, think I may have posted an image of it

Reached the topside of 15°C here. Too warm for this time of year though. Two consecutive dry days! the first two this year.
Can well believe it'll rain from now on, so they could be right, this time.
Don't go hogging the moon all for yerself!

Could you have spent an afternoon, lying down on the job, cutting it with a pair of scissors.
And you agree with this idea of removing more grassed area, replacing them with chips. Does yer back agree with you?
You might have saved yerself from injury had you stuck to yer plan, chips, chips and more chips...
Are the first lot you put down still looking okay?

Everybody gone off to write up at the same time...
Only two days worth of records, what's tha do when all two days are logged up. First contact. No "Wow" signal yet then...
The quieter it gets, the more likely what tha's using is to crash. Doesn't compute...

Another cake day, will you get any this time.
Maybe, she might have wanted to share them out.

Yer neighbour, across the road, was up in the air. Did he acknowledge yer wave... Get an aerial picture of yer house the next time he goes up.
