can't be ersed with those wee frozen packets they served you, in between the toast they go and voila!
Bread was only ever made to toast..
A bit random who decided to 'heat' the bread, mind you, no preservatives in those days, it probably got stale quickly...
Also with Mashed ripe banana, a Towers delight..

I belong to the "Waste Not Club" on food, in that they'll have tried to keep wastage to a minimum. And the use of toasting forks, sat in front of an open fire brought the family together.
You can't include mashed ripe banana, they be imports from a distant land.
