Good morning (checks watch) :hello:
Once again, rain in the dark....sunny at dawn breaking (I couldn't hear any rain, too comfy to get up)
Not had my daily :cuppa: so off to sort that bit (after sweet peas get checked)
Enjoy (or try) your day..

You left the warmth and comfort of the house. This first shoot showing, is it in the ground or still awaiting transplanting from a pot?
None since I take it. Forecasters right again!
Just passing by, you were lucky it didn't hang around.
Things such as checking yer printing for Mrs M, if any other shoots were showing, those sorta things...
You'd have been tucking in before the smoking were completed, so didn't try smoking them.
Had salmon, fresh from the river, caught by my cousin to rub it in.

Maybe they'll just pull them of a plane whilst there's no-one looking. After it's landed. Check for any paint on the heads.
I doubt they'll send them that way, in or out. If they do you might be waiting a wee bit longer than expected. The PLA from the land of the rising sun or the red dragon. Along the Silk Road!
Don't experiment you don't learn what does/doesn't work, or how little changes can sometimes "spagehttify" yer printing.
These boxes yer printing, have no lids and stack I assume... Movable dividers that sit in slots?

All logged up now...

First (and now others) on a windowsill in W facing room,
in the self watering pots and trays I made, 8 wee pots and trying as an experiment, water idea is good and works....
if okay, I'll start off some other seeds after these are potted on..

It'll take its time, dragon land, the usual....
I'm total busy in this room, Mrs M away for some more tubs..
One half may be finished today, may I said.
Coffee and plant watering awaits..

Owdo, I'd check just in case it's trying to trick you...
Wet n'breezy round these parts early hours, now it's sunshine and showers.
Could you not check yer peas with a cuppa in hand? How'd you miss yer early morning cuppa though.
I'll try, I promise...

They catch all the sun possible then. Any of the others showing shoots above ground yet, or just your "winning one" so far.
Self watering, the pots get up and walk to the water!
Printed by yourself no doubt, in place of shop bought ones.
If they work! You don't sound too convinced.

Red Marble then. And coming over land no doubt. Captain Oates PLA...
Totally busy, room nearly finished. You P'ing & D'ing again?
More tubs, have you got room for any more in the garden. They'll end up hiding the house.
Coffee can be had inside whilst you leave Mother Nature to do the watering.

It isn't shop type pots,
if I remember I'll snap an image tomorrow...
Stop being silly...
I'd hate to think how much tubs have cost me, mind you excellent storage...
Was pretty windy in these parts yet died completely as if someone turned it off..
2.8 mm so another rainy day in paradise..
Logging done and not uploaded to the cloud....oops.

You can never be to busy for yer first cuppa. Unless yer making yer first cuppa of course.
Priorities need sorting out...

Well never having seen pots that walk soldin shops, I await yer picture(s) with interest...
Is "stop being silly" an order. If it is I might not be able to...
Best not think about it, the shock of how much has been spent might upset you. Excellent storage or not.
Very little wind, even less rain round these parts. But the forecasters* say British Summer Time isn't going to get off to a good start.
Sorted and uploaded now!

Good afternoon from The Towers :hello:
Phew, all that could go wrong has..
WX station has gone wonky, well, the reading going to my WX program did, so now back to normal.
I've trying a new program for my data stuff on the radio, it's gone wonky...after an update so back to old reliable.
Mrs M says 'do you have a moment?' which means something has happened..
Superglue did the trick (I hope!)
Apart from that?
I'll get back to you...

Hope your day is going much better....

There ya go....
Hope you can see the lip where I gently pour the water in..
Seems to be working well, took one wee pot (44 mm x 44mm) out and seed about to pop through but look at the root popping out:eek:

As above, printer has a partially blocked nozzle so will spent some time trying to sort first before just changing the nozzle.
WX station uploads all to pot, it's back working but I'll need to look when I am mentally fit for it (aaaaaaaaaagh)
Been a bad start, off for more :cuppa:

Evenin...
Anything, that can't have been good...
Without yer weather station yer'd not know what the weather were doing. You were lucky there lad. Is back to normal as good as it sounds.
Update sent it wonky, nowt to do with forgetting to send it back up to the clouds the other night? Its way of reminding you it needs some attention.
You repaired Mrs M with superglue! What'll you do next...

All that aside though, it's going grand.

Tray and pots were made at home, by yerself.
Aye, I can.
A bit like standing the pots in water, only a neat homemade solution. PLA hold up well in water.
Bigger pots required or else yer seeds came from Australia. Onto the next stage, if warmer weather arrives. Summer has been a damp one so far this year.

It's how machines will take over the world. They canna cope with losing an hour...
They'll slowly send us mad...
Is there anything that you could leave the nozzles soaking in to clear blockages. Or is it part and parcel of using the printer.
Does the weather station hold the information on an SD card, for retrieval later.
That likely to be soon then. Hope the cuppa calmed yer nerves.

Of course, made them last year...
Seems to do, not much water is needed TBH, if any problems, PETG should have been used, I'll pot them on once they are ready to go out.

WX all back to normal, or sort of, I created a new profile for the unit to send info to a computer program, it has the new name. The website I upload to, or the manufacturer website is still using the older 'name', it works so I'll leave it.

Problem with the printer was the PLA I was using, I did do some 'extruding' and put cleaning pla type stuff a couple of times and changed PLA and off it went happily, I'll put it in the dryer and see how it goes. If okay, they'll be red boxes and trays everywhere just to use it up, if not? El Bin as they say..

WX station relays info to a separate console then ups to where I want it to go, Weather Underground station gives almost live WX updates, it goes to manufacturers WX website and a program which runs 24/7 on the computer.

In time for sowing season, or ready for this years.
Would it fail of a shot or show signs of failing.
It's not as though there's been any shortage of water so far this year anyway.
Waiting on warmer weather.

Weather back to normal. You're the one that's behind the hailstorms in these parts!
Did you lose anything, information wise, in creating the new profile. Or, is it all saved under the old profile/name.

Dodgy red PLA. Might the clue be in the colour and where it came from? You know where the dryer is, still. Nowt you could use the unused stuff for if not good enough for printing. Such as loosely tying plants in place as they're growing, as opposed to El Bin.

WX seems to be a wee bit more complicated than I thought. Thought you'd a standalone station feeding to your computer.
Is that a foreign program running there.
DST, not BST, visible on that screen.

Good afternoon :hello:
Trip thru W earlier..
Traffic thru Glasgow better than normal...
Sitting with a well-earned :cuppa:
Owdo

Would that be due to travelling through in the early hours, the school holidays or both.
Yer back home now then. Feet up, playing radio whilst yer printer is putting out Mrs M's work.

Still DST but correct time, that'll do moi..
That N wind out would cut you in half, bitter out in it..
Trip to Greenock, talking about cold, one of Scott's Antarctic crew born along the road from where I was, I'm not the only famous Greenockian, eh? The famous 'Chippy' fellow of Shackleton's infamous expedition, passed his birthplace as well (not far from where I moved from).

I made plant clips, must look and see if any other clips have been posted since then. Always handy but once again, cheap as chips in some places.
I'll order some PLA and a grey PETG later at some point for these boxes.

Day off today....
I better go get some work done...
