Good morning from a petrol poor area, apparently...
Cars are probably wasting more looking for it..

How are you all?
Fine I hope...
Young 'un is here keeping us both on our toes
Yer running out of petrol!
Aye, as they go from petrol station to petrol station to find the cheapest. Always found it odd, that part of car ownership.

Ironic that it came from Ireland though, given he wasn't the only one with Irish ancestry/Irish.
You'll have to find it now. You'll be wondering where it was, was it really there unless you do.
They went where ever they could get food, or where living was possible after the famine. Is that why yer drawn to Guinness, Irish ancestry in yer blood.
If he never MADE it, he's certainly responsible for saving it, and those that were rescued. Turning lifeboats into shelter, repairing the one they used to get help. Much like many of those lower down not considered important. Until their skills are required.

Bit of a traffic jam in the Himalayas...

Aye, I assume he had Irish ancestry.
The Port had a history of Irish incomers.
Many folk have written since of his invaluable contributions have massively improved the chances of survival (of all) and not of his boat work...
Yer right, the common man only has his uses..
Too many of that type led fated expeditions..

Other part of order has landed at PIK, which surprised me, I thought the main place for incoming goods was darn sarff....

That'll be waiting for the permit required to cross them. You might be a while in that case.

Loads came over for the harvests, and the fishing industry.
He were only a lowly ships carpenter, nothing major in the actual expedition. But it's that sort of person who can often get a workaround or repurpose something.
Often those that led, did so because of money not because they could.

Now's the time it'll take the longest to get to you, having landed so close. My money is on next week for delivery to you.

Hillary Step or what is left of it...big bit fell off it during an earthquake
Free postage, they'll make nothing out of this...
My lot came over and it was mill work, a ropeworks plus all the maritime work, shipyards and other stuff.
More likely mentioned this to you before, good read is 'Children of the Dead End' by Patrick MacGill, 'novel' which drew heavily on his own story before his dramatic change in fortune. An excellent read.
I remember hearing a Radio Scotland version of it but that was yonks ago, plenty online about Mr McGill, worth the read..
Tell her she can't play with it now, until she pays you. I'm sure you could think of soe form of acceptable payment.
Bob the builder to her rescue.
It may take some fixing due to screw sizes and thinness of board.

You wonder how they make any money at times.
Dirty, but skilled work. No slacking in those places. Too dangerous.
Might have to try and get a copy, see if it's as good as you say.
