Sounds as though she knew she shouldn't have been there, and wanted to avoid being caught. What about using nuts and bolts, instead of wood screws. Bolt through to the nut on the inside, if only on one of the three for each hinge.

His methods were a bit unconventional, and if the money wasn't there, there's a good chance he'd have been in the big building up Mentson way.

Mayhem were with yerself, doing the potting up. You reckon on having enough spuds for a decent meal this time. Yer sweet peas been seen yet, by small hands?
It's not as though you really needed a hosepipe for the last part of last year either. Hosepipe survive intact over winter.
Wouldn't surprise me if it did drop that low now were on BST.

Were both expected...

She was a rascal, again.

Yep, you couldn't write his script.. still an inspiring story..
He could have just settled and had a well-off comfy life but no !

I'd planted some S/peas and a fuchsia over a week ago, and still looking okay...

Rainy day so far, almost 7 mm so far.
Once again, dark rain but drying up now, no grass cut this week, bleedin' shooting up, this would be three cuts ?

New PLA tweaks, another brand to try, I'm convinced probably only a few factories churn this out..
I liked the buttercup yellow shade but having to tweak temperatures etc for this, off on its new temps so first layer passable and only 4 hours odd left

Chaos two away with Mrs M to aunties..
I decided to stay and get busy.

Dunno 'bout dib dib tonight..
Owdo this Good Friday

It'd be more a gentle spin than owt fer me.
I think Bob's Lazy Day may have had some help from some AI again. I could be wrong...

Crimewatch warning, "Stay Safe"!

Enjoy yer Lazy Day.

Stay safe? my protection has gone out......
Forgot what day is was, the Good part...
wonder if I'll get an egg this year.....

Yep, AI generated...
It tweaks my usual boring hello which is meant dearly to all.
I had ChatGPT making up files for boxes, excellent they were but the lids were all over the place. All done in the same conversation too.
It can be so frighteningly accurate yet very, very wrong at times....

You'll have to firm with her, and if that doesn't work, tell her Mrs M will have words with her.
Should do the trick.

An often used piece round these parts, with someone like him, was to get them abroad away from the family with very little chance of meeting anyone who knew them.
He could have, but mill work, even if only the occasional visit might have been worse had he taken an interest in the everyday running.

Even with the short summer this year? They must be adapting them for growing in harder climates.

Rain in the early hours, now cleared but there's a bit of a breeze about.
Grass cutting will have to wait for better weather. Even week of decent weather couldn't dry things out enough to cut it.

All made under one roof and then shipped in different packaging you mean. It's possible. Might explain why some is suspect. They got the stuff rejected by others.
Buttercup Yellow, who comes up with these names! It's sounding as though yer looking at a paint chart and choosing.
Temperature changes required for different colours of the same material. Sounds odd.
It's a good job yer not in a rush when yer printing stuff. Four hours, sheesh...

Did Mrs M take Mayhem with her to aunties
Get busy on yer lazy day. Does not compute...

Aah get yerself out, unwind with similar minded folk for an hour or so...

Yer protection may have gone, but she's taken some of yer troubles with her. Very brave of her to do that for you.
Haven't you bought yerself at least one, that's yours and yours alone.
Now ChatGpt, and other AI's, could be be useful if they could pick the winners better than a person could. You could make a fortune in no time.
I think the AI you and I have access to is a lot less accurate on some things, but accurate enough on others just to keep us interested in it.
That piece you posted didn't sound like it'd been thought up by a person.

I just used Buttercup to describe the shade....
Had to adjust the temps then no problemo....so far.
The red I used laid a bad first layer so I stuck it in the drier and voila, improved enough to lay a decent first layer, 95% I say....

I did go out.....

They give you say 190 - 220c for most PLA and bed temp of 50 to 70c, PETG needs higher temps , bed and melting. I only use these two types.
Boxes and lids tomorrow...well, over the weekend

See PM for selections....

Fair enough, not the name given by the manufacturer then. Can't imagine asking for Buttercup Yellow, be it paint or PLA. It'd be yellow, followed by "too bright, too dark".
Adjust for each colour seems a bit much, for me anyway.
Nothing wrong with yer storage system, causing you to need the drier.

Anywhere good, or just a walk round the local area, checking the footpaths...

A 30°C change in temperature is a fair bit. Does it vary from supplier to supplier, the temperature used.
Will these boxes and lids fit any better than previous attempts. Meaning you've refined the file(s) somewhat.

Seen it.

No, PLA is a lower melting point (depending on make up and printer, I guess.
Each spool (make) has advisory info on the spool,
for instance the spool I am using now, has 190 - 220c for optimum,
I've used at 200, 215 and 220c.
I'm getting better lay down at 220c BUT the ambient temperature of my garage will come into consideration, I'm sure.
It's presently 12.5c but if as I previously planned an enclosure would change thing,
I'll try a lower temp during the summer months as a test.
I've bed temp at 70c.
I did 'dry' that spool the other day but not as long as I should have, PLA absorbs moisture.

One thing I can say, spoiled for choice for walks in this area, the canal, local woods etc.
Sitting waiting on the threatened winds etc.

2.3 mm of rain so far.....

Wee lemon muffins ?, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Wouldn't all PLA have a similar temperature setting for use. Just to get it out of the nozzle if nowt else. Read pack before use then.
Probably made that way so they could sell you a drier as well.

There's a fair few walks, within walking distance round these parts. More if you're willing to spend ten minutes getting there.
Canals are a bit further still, but still doable.
It's picked up slightly here, but I've also moved up the valley, into more open ground. We might see Dave before you do.

We'd rain around half two this morning, for about an hour. Not certain how much fell.

Resist, you must...
Think of the children.

I love ripe mangos.. a bit messy though..
Need bigger muffin cases :cuppa:
used the air fryer, handy bit of kit...

I had to abort the last print as PLA again seemed wrong..
I think that spool is not good quality but I think it had clogged up the nozzle a bit,
I'd to do a bit of running another PLA to clear through so keeping an eye on this, maybe the 220 was a tad too far, I've another thing to make later on so I might go back to 210 and see how it does....

You still have enough Mango for the muffins though, messy or otherwise.
Yer'll not be trying to print them, will you. Current ones not large enough, by how much.
Presume the lemon ones passed your taste test, and it's onto the next lot...
They seem that way, at present. A bit like microwaves were when they hit the shelves.

Stopped before it got far enough to have been a complete mess. Could you make a "cover" from some clear sheets of plastic, keeping the area around the printer at a more stable temperature. If it is down to temperature.
It could be a pressure thing, with yer printer detecting Dave inbound. The wind is picking up here again, but no rain yet, yellow or otherwise.
More printing orders for Mrs M.

Still trucking towards the Towers....
Away from the snow, air conditioning is working well as they head towards the desert.....

Down my gullet, well, some of them...
We had to test as I bodged a recipe but success and a note put in the book.....
I suppose there could be the odd PLA muffin..
Plenty if you search '3D printed muffin'.
Air fryers are great things...
We use it a lot, even doing the muffins today....180c at 15 min for 6.
Both sides going would be 12 at 15 mins.

I still have two to do for Mrs M....
I've a couple of radio things to do, both a two part print of parts.
I'll try tomorrow as Flanders will be priority tomorrow.so I shouldn't be out....
if I have to go out, 7 to 7.30 latest.......

Are you tracking them on their journey to you, and exactly what way are they coming?

Did yer gullet enjoy them enough to want more.
Which part did you bodge? Will you find the note in the book the next time you need it though... The odd one left in amongst not so odd ones, see who picks it?
There's one sat in the kitchen, that's only been used twice. I'm remained unconvinced by them.
You decided in what order you'll be doing the printing, in between the cycling of course.
Odds on you'll be going out, you just don't know it yet.
Would that be am or pm, as far as yer aware so far...

Think Dave might have passed through and that we are currently ahead of you on rainfall, as it makes its way northwards.

Didn't realise you were in Vivaldiland. These summers sure are getting shorter...
"Snowflakes" being something other than a codeword or name she uses for you.
Hail, sunshine and wind at present here, all at the same time.
I like the way the program puts "whoosh" on the temperature drop.
I'll stay dry at least, I've no plans on going out.

Jeez, snowing again.....
Sent you a bit I missed,doh!

My Chrome is as slow as get out, I doubt a move to Edge until this sorts itself out, I use edge anyway so no different, search seems better on Chrome though, I've maybe 5 browsers on my list....

I'm doing a two part antenna print but possibly I may have to change the nozze but I'll get stuff through a few times before I print, extrude is the word..
Off to try it..
