I never do anything the right way, more a bodging Bob...
There is plenty offering deals out there but sadly most are being taken over by some dodgy outfits, a case of trying to see what you can get out of them, O2 are all sorted, the previous sim is due away in 30 days...so moolah saved there.
Today's been a day,
thought of another cross border raid but too near the time....
thought I'd drop the question about another motorbike, the look said it all...that'll be another 'NO' Bob.
I'll wear her down, I did get a reminder of falling off a near static Polly a couple of weeks ago.

Never mind, new Minions movie due out...

Wonder who'll go with me to this one?

Sim deal? a log story but all good.
Just now since I got a crazy deal this time round..
saves all the hassle as well.
Off to play radio as I missed most of the day...

"Bob The Bodger", you...
Feel yer right about dodgy deals available from equally dodgy operators. Sometimes one of the larger companies under a different name. Trying to sort out the real deals can be confusing, and I suspect that's what most are relying on to sell you something, even if its not what you wanted when you went in.
Same number, or do you go through the whole let everyone know your new number.
And there'll be another day tomorrow...
Only thought about, yer going soft, you know that!
Owabout if you started looking at electric bikes. I know they're still legally motorbikes, but you could sell them as a bike. She might not realise...
Or howabout one of those motorised units that drop onto the rear wheel?
Maybe it were the lack of speed that caused you to fall off. Going quicker/faster might solve the problem for you.

So long as they don't kill the basic storyline by overdoing the movies.
Take all three of them. Mrs M could just drop the four of you off then come back at the end and pick you all up again.

How crazy a deal. Extremely or crazy or summat in between.
Wait until next March when they announce the annual increase.
How's the new one doing so far?

I already know the increase..
They tend to do that now..
It's the amount of channels that are s**** and you would never watch, I use the Toob (it does have better pic quality), Quest and maybe the occasional other. I heard my email going well after midnight 'welcome to such and such a channel', I was tempted to send back that they've been part of the deal and I have dipped in once or twice in all these years, I can't go all this drama (same word as earlier) from across the pond...
The best thing is jump from one to the other grabbing the new customer deals but going by a family members recent experience, it doesn't take long to rise in price.
Looks like Bob the Bodger got out the wrong side of me pit this am...

Don't think the three could sit still that long, the last one I took my youngest..
She was useless, forgot to get my pensioner discount and I had to buy the edibles, costly day that one.

I had the use of a 250cc super dream in the 70s, the roads were literally dead then compared to now, in 1988, I got a 125 to learn on, funnily, I then picked up another old super dream and latterly, a 250 Honda Spacy, a wacky looking scooter but what a cracking runabout....when it was becoming too expensive to maintain, I gave it away...pizza box on the back as well. Ebike someday.

Busy day ahead, Toodles Jnr plus man in white coat giving me a call plus big river place delivering early parcel then maybe more stones being laid down, I've a sleeper to cut as well. Two plums have fallen off the tree we moved, I know there's a joke in this somewhere.
Oh and to have a chat with new sim supplier, any cheek and I'll the rottweiler on them.

Suppose the day before were Wednesday. Twosday can't follow that...
Possible way of avoiding the days dragging, don't go to sleep. Then there's no waking up in the morning.
First job, Mrs M's cuppa? You gotta get her wondering if nowt else.

They've told you that already...
I always seem to find out the month before the increase.
You not a fan of the shopping channels...
You don't put yer e-mails on silent after midnight when you may be wanting to sleep.
I'd prefer it if they told you what channels they were removing, rather than "adding". Go to watch summat and the channel has disappeared, with no warning. Seldom watch much from across the pond anyway.
Price increases seem to happen faster these days. Nearly always "unexpected" and usually because of what you do watch.
What's tha done!

Challenge them, see who'll last the longest(Also called bribery).
Now you can't blame the youngest for forgetting yer pensioner discount. Chances are she were unaware you got one in the first place. She'll know the next time. As for edibles, that'd be where Mrs M could help out before leaving the four of you on yer own for the afternoon.

Not exactly new to the moped/motorbike scene then. Could you get matching His and Hers leathers, or at least just be looking at them as she watches what you're looking at.
Pizza box on the back! A man ahead of the rest. ebike or e-assist?

Did the man in the white coat call before or after Toodles Jnr appeared. Big River parcel the one that were due the other day? Stones done now, and on to the sleeper.
I'd be very careful about loosing yer plums...
Didn't you sort out all that yesterday, just let the rottweiler at that em. Show them who's the boss...

Good morning, this thanks to AI... :hello:

Good morning folks! 🚴‍♂️☕️

Hope everyone is doing well and the legs are feeling fresh for whatever miles you've got planned today. Whether you're heading out for a long ride, a quick spin, or just enjoying a coffee while plotting your next adventure, I hope the weather is kind and the roads are smooth.

Wishing all my cycling friends a cracking day ahead. Ride safe, watch out for the potholes, and don't forget to give a friendly wave to fellow cyclists out there.

Happy pedalling everyone! 🚲👍🌤️

Still stones to go...not many barrowful though.
The mark made on the sleeper to cut is baffling us so will have a further look at it today, oldest Mhor was to cut it (he did offer to do the stones) but no, old stubborn Mum and Bob started.. even one or our neighbours called over, 'You doing that?'. Average age 71:rolleyes:, we're a pair of eejits...this will be the last though..
I have Oirish in one of my 'lines'.
I can trace back to 1795 (someone else discovered this part), I was only back to 1818 when said descendant arrive in Jockoland. I don't know the birth date of the 1795 mother and father of the 1795 one, I know their names though.

Motorbike? Mrs M riding pillion? nein, neon and nein.... e-bike will be option soon enough..
The one thing I always wore was a cowhide jacket and gloves...
Loved the ease at which you could ease in and out of traffic etc.
I used to go for an extended spin some morning on the way to work, highlighted once by a 'I'll nip down for the papers' one Sunday and ended up on top of the Rest and Be Thankful road miles away where I saw Anneka Rice and a group of soldiers, man, I swooned....no phone for selfie with..I called Mrs M from the phonebox at the top of the road excitedly. Loved me bikes (and root toot tooter)

Food bin watching day.....in case the birds arrive, we seem to be mostly the ones hit, testament to our cooking skills, I think.
Big delivery at some point so hopefully my old number will have PAC'ed over by then.....

I think gruel is in order...
Mrs M mentioned a larger table outside so dining in the Scottish rain a possibility.
I'm off (not literally)

Yeah, O2 isn't good either.
I left a scathing report on how useful it was...
mind you, minimum two bars and odd four but mainly 2 or 3 which is superb for this 'hole' I'm located in......

I asked it to wish my cycling friends a good day ahead or something like that...
It's to keep the normal greetings look okay...
I find it hard to do cheery some mornings..

Only one attempt on the food bin, jackdaw and gull....it was more a look I think...it's organised, the jackdaw comes down and sniffs about it then it caws and the gull seems to know what its saying and they move on

Here's a Scots take on AI stuff

O2 is the better network round these parts, and the only one to offer better than 4G. 4GLTE, with the downside that those near the mast have their TV/radio signals mucked up. I don't think you'd like it, with your radio shenanigans.
If your report/review were honest, I don't see how they can complain. I did similar for Orange, and some on the board calling me asking why I'd said what I did.
Two bars, that sounds like EE round these parts, in an area of excellent 4/5G coverage. You're lucky.

Well it's easy see it wasn't you that formulated that post. As for being cheery in the morning, just be yourself. Who's gonna complain?

Foxes round here for the general waste, still awaiting the return of the food waste collection, due to return in October along with new caddies. For now biodegradable green bags, that disintegrate when they get wet, that are just thrown in the bin wagon.

Don't get me started on AI controlled stuff. From switchboards to virtual assistants that can answer any question but yours. And can't deal with an accent of any sort.

Still unfinished! Yer too soft on yer workforce.
Who made the mark and what's baffling about it? Take up the offer to cut it, they are not the easiest things to cut.
Stubborn Mum and Bob showing the younger ones how it's done. Did the neighbour offer to help, possibly decreasing the average age of those doing the work. The last for now...
Thought you had with Pip O'Toodle being mentioned.
You know which part of the island they came from?

Never said she'd be a pillion passenger. Just start looking at matching his and her biker outfits. Through her off guard for when you mention motorbikes again.
Yer skin the cow yerssen... Nowadays they don't seem to bother with anything like that, even riding round in shorts.
Through the gaps that couldn't take a car.
Soldiers always have that effect on you, make you swoon. Phonebox! Now yer showing yer age...

You or the birds win today. Possibly, but you'd not be leaving a lot.

All outa porridge.

Getting texts..no calls yet on allegedly ported number but as they did say 48 hours (which is bull TBH) I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, had a four bar earlier, plane was very close by so most likely reflection.....but 2 to 3 which will do, normally I'd be on wifi calling at The Towers...EE is mince and even away from here it says 5g and you wait, wait and wait. Girl who took my call , didn't raise another retentions offer (well used word this week) when I said piss poor signal.....

I'd another go with the AI wifie, she actually caught my security answer but spoiled it all by repeating, pulling up yer details for about two mins....

My lot? Antrim area....
I was talking to someone and asked what part of NI they came from, I said hey, my relatives came from there and he said oh boy...apparently some dodgy far and distant ones about. Two of the families came over around famine time and took almost two tenements by an old gas works, smelly or whit.. my going back was only ever parents etc, none of this chasing all siblings.
They did adhere to the old system of naming kids after , you know what I mean and a lot of cousins were family Christian names and the same with their families.
6.9mm so far....
the birds had one look but around the corner, one food bin got opened and ragged....
I stayed in as man with radiator appeared after two'ish......
Off to log and then going to wonderland..

Network went downhill when EE bought the UK part of Orange, and again when they'd switched all accounts to EE from Orange. They all became pants when the 3G network was switched off. "Excellent 4G coverage inside and out" where in reality there was none. Relied too heavily on their 3G network, which to be honest wasn't as bad as some of the other networks. Now they keep on telling me to turn to WiFi calling, paying them to use another network, which I've to pay to use. No free calls via their much vaunted public WiFi.
I've line of sight of two of their masts, and seldom get above 50% signal strength at home. Yet to get a "5G" notification, four being the best to date.
The call centre staff don't seem to bother with trying to keep customers these days. Stopping short of actually telling you to go to another network, if it's that bad.

An AI wifie! Is Mrs M aware of this...
Two things I hate when phoning anywhere these days are the automated switchboards, "please listen to the following options before selecting". Made worse by use of AI that is about as much use as a chocolate teapot for brewing a cuppa in. Fails to recognise you've actually chosen an option, and/or what was said. Telling you just before it cuts you off...

Up the north of the island then. For some reason I'd placed you down the Waterford area or the midlands. And that's not just from yer fishing stories.
Now, be honest, if you didn't have one or two dodgy ones you'd be disappointed. Are these dodgy ones still topside or long gone...
The dodgy ones I know about all got free trips abroad, either America(Texas and Nova Scotia, depending on which side) and later Australia. Recent family finds have been on one side, all in Australia. They got there for nothing. Spread far and wide, across five continents at present. Some, like yours left around the time of the famine, and in the immediate aftermath. Others forced to move on, headed east to Wales and Lancashire.
I'm lucky if you like, in that one side of the family have had their entire family line going back over a 1,000 years written down. In six complete volumes. Send them the details you do have and they can name each and every family member that was ever recorded. Some dispute now on which is the older lineage, Yorkshire or Cambridge with about a 100 years difference.
Smelly gas works, you sure they were using the right type of gas.
Familiar with the naming system. Seldom referred to by own name when over there, and when I am it sounds like an insult. Named after either my uncle and his grandfather or my grand dads brother. Three names and they all get used.
We'd rain between 1pm and 5pm yesterday evening. Not certain of how much fell due to the Belisha Beacon type of rainfall.
Your bin stayed untouched, this time. Give them time, they'll work out how to open them.
Radiator, in "Flaming June"!
Were it at least cheap due to the time of year.
Logging long done and you'll be zzzz'ing away by now.

I just got infos off the various places online, have got one line back to the 1600s,
it'll do as I spent ages on it..
Radiator? I wanted a curtain and pole in the room of the bed, what is called now, The leading room or something..so narrow radiator needed.
Bob'll have to fix it (but not the radiator), Yes, Bob can....and no, usual price.

Me? named after cousin who had been staying with my parents.
My three are not family nmes although middle names are....
Too many wrong turns and on Mrs M side too many very similar names.
Dad and me were kinda looked on as the black sheep...I haven't kept in touch with any.
I got 7 contacts on VHF last night in contest thing, one possible i G land and a spot in Yk, near Leeds.
I must be the black sheep on this too, almost double the folk spotted me than I worked, oh well. Enthusiasm is waning esp as they are banging another 9 quids on the yearly dues..no more QSL (paper ones) as discussed before so the main reason has gone...
Like everything else, it's above inflation increases.
It's the same old turgid blurbs they come out with, instead of the truth....
Fuel companies are the worst..
Big envelopes must fly about.....Just had a contact into TX and the town? Highland Village..Och aye the noo.

I have the enthusiasm to get the shack organised today (part of anyhow) printed headphone holder for top of a door last night, why didn't I do this before.

Still no incoming phone calls on my old number (or out)..
Still got 3 and 2 bars everywhere though, I can still call out though but kids know I'm textable...
I'm off, hoping to get this floor clear tonight..
