Seal and clock on liftoff back on schedule?
You reckon there's sufficient pressure in yer water for lift off. And that all important "Wow" moment...
Too wet, even for you, to venture out. It were that bad.
Crying on into yer cuppa after you've had the second extraction. Something special required at the GC cafe methinks. Nowt too expensive though...

Should NASA and Musk be bothered by the fact you've projects in the pipeline.

That's a printed vase?
How tall can your printer print?

Logging up gets earlier every week. Yer "skunk work" projects must be keeping you busy at night.
SAmer and other stuff just pops up! Sounds dodgy.

It is a printed vase...aye..by the printer as asked by me...
240 x 240 x 240 safely I'd say, bed is 256 x 256 x 256 mm.
I'd probably never try anything above 230 tbh but you also get stuff like a brim being printed first if the print is small walled and say hollow etc..it sizes depending on the article size but the printer will tell you if not okay..
when you 'slice' a file into its printed STL file....
The website I get 90% of my prints, gives you.
I can cut out the preample it goes through, checking a lot of settings including a self levelling check, I did a self levelling maybe twice a week with the old one, if anyone reading this is thinking of buying one, please get a self-levelling one. My first one was not..it's a chore..
anyhow it takes quite a few mins, next print I'll post the time of print etc
slice example.jpg

There ya go.....
Middle see Time Estimation, 6 mins 30 secs of preparation....
The green 'slider' after I 'slice', it lets me take it back to any part of the job and insert a pause to say change of filament, you do the necessary just like that..see the rocket image I posted earlier this week...or the OO toob clip (it has had 439 views).
Makerworld (the website is part of the BLabs system is all tied up with Bambu Print so handy.
Forgot to say, the vase is very flimsy tbh, I must see if I can sturdy things up....more a decoration, dried flowers perhaps.
The design is impressive in real life...
Wait until you see my toadstool slug trap....

Jet wash teeth time today, in 75 mins. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh.

Logging? I'm happy when i get to a stage, gotta leave some bread on the table..

Good morning campers :hello:
Hi-de- hi......
Gone a bit parky over the last 36 hours, high of 15 promised today..
There's always :training: to warm you up.....
Owdo glampers...
Ho-Ho-Ho
They were forecasting rain from around half four yesterday afternoon, it never arrived. Temperature has, as you noted, dropped a wee bit. Have no fear though/worry not as "they" say the heat is returning this weekend. They've put another fiver in the meter to prove themselves right.
Weights, you shifting summat, again!

One of these days that printer is going to be telling you to ask nicely before it considers your request. Or demand better working conditions, no longer in a garage. No cameras watching as it does its work.
The one you pictured, was it one you got printed off, or one seen on reddit?
It looks a wee bit taller than it is wide, or will you be altering it to suit your printer.
What yer saying then is it could be printed upside down if wider at the top(has a brim).
What'd happen if the printer wasn't level before printing, lopsided print or a refusal and four points. That's a bit I don't like. Printer in the same place, not moved since it was last used and it needs to be levelled each time before use.
Methinks yer getting addicted, all these hits yer getting. Yer need to include the launch AND Toodles reaction in any video you put up for it. Especially if it's a second take.
Didn't think slugs were that keen on toadstools, but if there's free beer in it for them, who knows...

Could you not save money and let Mrs M do you at home with the powerwasher?
Now, was the scream because you opened too wide or because of the associated extraction.

All the worlds a stage as someone once said.
Leave bread on the table and you might give in to temptation...
Have fun shopping later...

The Wide of Nation giveth me then the dental place extracted some of it, oh well.
Don't think it would print easily upside down, all kinds of supports would be needed..
Much simpler that way..
I changed some settings but dunno if any of them worked as if I lay more down, it should weigh heavier, it weighed 54gm which is the same of the first one.....oh well. Next time I order nozzle setup, I'll order the .08 one (normally its a .04 one).
One for downstairs, mine is at my window, that was the one I mad earlier, it's a shade of grey....this one today was cyan..
Cruelty , garage is just like a big storage cupboard...

She'd more likely stick the hose down my gullet..

Wait until you see toadstool trap..
I've letting then go but jeez, they are causing damage now to plants, 20 odd are in the garden bin, I'll remove them and relocate any I can I find. They must be carefully removed as they can carry some rodent related nasty thing.
1 mm so far in two bursts but I think tomorrow brings a lot of rain.....
We came straight home, no shops were emptied today...
I could log now, enough in the log but I've an UHF 2 hr thing tonight, think once I had 3 contacts

I got my cable / phone thing sorted out,
eventually by me....
They did call back, a very unconvincing IT person...
He did mention the original number that came with the sim, I did say please wipe that off the system as I'm sure it that was the problem all along.
I have 3 bars signal just now, it varies mostly at 2 bars but occasionally adds another.
Mr Bacon can go do one...

The dental place extraction wasn't that bad then.

If the top were wider, by a good bit, then the base of the piece being printed, would be printed first up to the brim of the pot? Would the base require supporting that much.
Could the printer be ignoring yer instructions and going on what it's done previously.
You got yours, then Mrs M saw it and enquired about it... Different colours so you can tell them apart.
You don't leave it all on its own then. Plenty to keep it company...

Well she'd be able to give yer innards a decent clean then.

I'm waiting with baited breath for the toadstools to put in an appearance. See if they work as they should.
Storing them in yer dustbin, how many are you expecting to catch. Or is it their size that's caused the bin to be used? Weil's Disease can be caught from them. Is that the nasty rodent disease you mention.
Started wet, then dry, then wet, repeating every 20 minutes until around mid-day. Like you say, there's more up there yet.
Supposed to a minimum of 30°C here over the weekend. They have "forecast it"...
No shops entered, you did well young Bob...
Log up early evening, things that quiet. Three a high number of contacts.

They talk as though the information is on the screen in front of them. Throw in an odd handset and it throws them. Maybe they were holding onto that number as a final fall back, a last ditch resort for when all their other answers have left you no better off. You got that number removed and things improved, seems as though you may have been right in yer thinking. They'll really like you now.
Two out four ain't too shabby, is it?
Mr Bacon couldn't do one as they'd no more dumps on their journey.

Nah, there will be enough compensation built in for the overhang to slowly print its way up.
Once you slice it, the program will tell you if any supports are needed plus the original file has been created with certain settings built in.
I'm using the basic settings (most of the time) that is standard as it works....
the Vase mode setting ,the vase really is flimsy and I wouldn't put water in it

Not Weil's but some other 'can't remember' nasty thing....
We have a couple of cats who 'pass' through but I never chase, as they never linger.
I had intended to cut the grass today but next dry day will do....
Could try it with a 0.8 nozzle at some point, once I buy one...
I made an order last night from across the sea but I'll get the official version once I order more material...
I did order a very cheap PLA spool so wonder if the company delivery pushbike is being utilised, it says sending in 7 days, it guarantees delivery on the 15th this month with a £2 coupon if not here by this date, it was their UK store it says.
No wee bloke/ette cycling across the Gobi desert etc.. S/he'll get his chance again...

3 bars just now plus I can access everything, the VM AI lady followed the same pattern but wasn't as broke as the O2 lady was..

No shops this morning either as plumber popping in at some point, waiting on little Toodles appearing any minute now..

Oh well, off to look for a project....

Fair enough, just thought they'd keep the widest part lower down when printing.
Supports all round then.
You don't feel like getting adventurous and trying some of the more exotic settings. If there are any.
Feels or just looks flimsy. The first I'd say is a better way to tell. A vase with no water in it?

"The most significant parasite concern associated with slugs is the nematode Angiostrongylus cantonensis, commonly referred to as the Rat Lungworm."*
So long as yer not eating them you should be safe.
Yer gonna need a bigger toadstool, if you don't want to chase them.
Busy weekend ahead then...
8/10's doesn't sound that much bigger. I know it's twice the size, but still sounds small.
Unless someone feels like giving you a 0.8 nozzle, yer'll have to wait until you buy one.
Last thing I ordered online got delivered to the wrong address. Delivery company aren't interested as it's been "delivered". Twice, at the same time to two different towns/cities nearby, just not where it should have been delivered.
Company pushbike, it'd be an electric one these days wouldn't it. How about offering your services as the "last mile" delivery agent. You could get paid whilst you get back up to speed on yer bike.
Maybe it's this round the world record attempt that'll be doing the delivery! £2 coupon if not delivered on time, goes towards yer next order that's late arriving. You can tell I'm trusting of these delivery companies.

VM I think use the old T-Mobile lady, retired when EE took them over. Any better help from her though.
Three bars, yer doing well.

Waiting in for a plumber and Toodles to arrive at roughly the same time. Was she the plumber by chance?

Find any...

Been out since I posted that last reply, not back in long.

On the slugs?
First one mentioned......

If Toodles was the plumber? she'd been off work...

I looked at 3.7v lipo batteries today again, they have got more expensive fast...
Must look at getting two of....plus cheapo torch as I can't find mine...

VM lady uses same patter but is less disjointed than the O of 2..
BIG BIG logging today..
6m was opened and I filled my boots...over 60 contacts....
all upped and cloud based plus the almost whole upstairs cleaned..
Is it a bird, a plane? no, it was Domestic Bob
Had enough, I'm off...

Rat lungworm. You eating them?

Or turned up late and told you the job were beyond her...

I've noticed the price of rechargeable batteries going up, quicker than they have in the past. Walked past the battery bin in Sainsbury's the other day and saw three rechargeable batteries for power tools. Could have done with another charger...

I just want to talk to a real person half the time, not go through multiple options to get the answer(s) to questions i have. On hold and listening to an automated voice at the start of a call, are ahead of automated messages in my book.
You think it'll die down soon, something new to try, or it'll continue getting popular. Would 60 be a new record for yourself on this 6m band..
Bob's been a busy boy. Dry day and you can get the grass cut now.
Slow down a wee bit Domestic Bob, you'll build a reputation you might have trouble keeping...

Sound like something off an a la carte menu...with ratatatouie (?)sauce
They are getting overrun and rockery and troughs are suffering....

I now regret my 'taste' in 1970....along with the legs of frog and other delicacies.
Drink is a terrible thing....

I'll pull the plug on a couple over the weekend...
I need one but a spare would be handy...
I could run the board off a computer, hard wired like that would save hassle but this in going in the loft space...

I don't mind, a chose 1,2,3,4 type answer as that works for me..

60 on 6 ? hell yeah.....
I'm doing the bread and butter stuff on 40 before I look at 6.....
6 is the metre band, 50 mhz is that frequency, 40m is 7 mhz..and on and on. Ariston on...
I chase BOTA, POTA, IOTA, LOTW, DOK, mostly POTA ..lots of On the Air stuff there.
WAS was my main one but achieved....DXCC also..
Presently around 200 but not all confirmed

Anyhow, I better go snail catching, Mrs M reports a few out and about...
relocation over the weekend...
Young Miss Sniffles today...

Another fun packed weekend approaches:rolleyes:
Fun, fun and fun from morning to night, who's in?

If not? yer an auld fuddy duddy...:cuppa:
Owdo
If you keep on using the weeks up as you are doing, you'll be out of them in next to no time.
That's as maybe, but the sun that goes with that fun, fun, fun has disappeared.

Less of the auld please...
