Old speccy is up to something some folk find tut-tut.

I have my cleaning duties,
I took over when I retired a couple of years before the Mrs..
Years of gutting park buildings daily, 13 years at playing a parkie..

Anyhow, radio to play first.
The marigolds can wait (I don't really use them)

Something some folk might find tut-tut covers a wide variety of things. What's tha been up to I wonder. Will it involve an exchange of personnel at dawn on a lonely road.

Isn't retirement supposed to be when you slow down, relax and maybe put yer feet up. Or have they been peddling the wrong image all these years in the adverts.
Playing a parkie sounds as though you weren't actually doing the work of a parkie.

Another illusion shattered. And there were missen thinking you were like yerssen in those sky adverts. Leaning over the sink, plate in one hand, scrubbing brush in't other...

I avoided getting one for years but got brow beaten into one (not literally), worth every penny.

Parkie was worse than just getting round the regular work, dealing with grumpy folk, doing extra stuff but the extra work that came with it (in the summer was handy cash, I escaped in '90 and almost to the day I left I averaged at least 53 hours per week (38 years of working these sort of hours) and more if anyone was on hols etc. A wife and three hungry kids to feed but luckliy no crops in the fields like Loose Wheel..

I better go , landing imminent..

You could see it were going to be another cold start last night. Weather Folk are saying you'll have snow before the week is out. Might stop it being so cold first thing.
Thought you liked the colder weather?
I'll take yer word on that part.

If it is, take the fifth whilst exercising yer first...

Nothing like reality? You mean all those adverts showing retired folk, enjoying doing stuff they'd no time to do when working are wrong!

Everything in for a week before it's turned on to do the job for which it were bought.
It put you out of a job though... Even ended up paying to be put out to pasture.
You put them away, unbroken...

Wasn't the extra cash(from extra duties) welcome in winter. Those long dark nights.
You'll have got used to dealing with grumpy folk in 38 years no doubt. The odd requests/questions for which you were expected to supply a ready answer to.
Escaped, they left the park gates open one night.
No crop, just as well really as you'd not have had the time to harvest it. Just as well yer wheel wasn't too loose.

Landing done n'dusted, no injuries...

Well, depending on who yer willing to trust with the weather, we've either the last throes of summer or the first snow of winter heading our way. There appears to be no middle ground.

Let the pair of them fight it out, leaving one still capable of answering.

Logging is a hard life,
Me wearing a red and black checked shirt, a chain saw and big boot..
Oh, and breeks, I'd look a proper plum without them plus I'd be awfy cold in the nethers.

Roll on the shorter days..and the time change over,
I can then log in real time not the one hour less for BST..
Toss the whole system in the bin..

It was hers, she was okay with it..
being secretly transported south..
I'll get another once I organise the other PLA that'll I'll need.

36 hours total time then a build and that is if I'm ready to do the next 'plate' (all 18 of them) right away, more like a two day print,
You saw the short and what it needs..
Got the printer working just now, a test piece.
Radio hasn't been on yet so best pay it a visit...
