10 seconds slower than Thursday:laugh:
Several minutes slower for me, Tech!
I thought today I'd bury the Bkool woes and invested in a new tablet, did a few rides pre-race to make sure it was all good. Naturally it was fine in all of them, then in the warm up for the race everything zeroed out so I restarted Bkool joining the race after you guys have all shot off then my watts were only refreshing every now and then making it ridiculous, after 3 mins of watching you guys disappear it finally synced up so I wellied it but no chance to catch anyone as I was so far behind. Ended up just plodding along feeling miserable. Beer time.🍻

Glad everybody else had problems.

Mr. Wise Guy here thought, hey why not pair the Assiomas as power and cadence source and see how they work with BSIM? Well, they didn’t! I was left on the line with the avatar going 20.5 kph, even after I stopped pedalling. 🙁

Then I remembered someone else having the same problem, but I just couldn’t recall the solution. :banghead:It was something about pedalling backwards, but I tried that and it didn’t work.

I just couldn’t bother exiting, pairing the NEO and probably end up joining the race where I left it and getting an N/Q. Will redo it, probably tomorrow, with available ghosts...
If I dont drink too much tonight I might have another go tomorrow too. 👍

As far as the second video is concerned you will not get far testing like that.
The PCB needs to be in the slot as there is a null gate (photo cell on the PCB and a flag on the magnet carrier).
When the trainer starts it motors back until the flag breaks the photo cells image.
What you are doing will eventually burn out the stepper motor and or jam the magnet carrier on the stepper motor threaded shaft.
Repeat video 2 but with the PCB fitted correctly.

Thanks for answer. I fixed the problem by connecting the stepper motor housing with the flywheel bearing using a wire, eliminating the potential difference. Reboots have stopped. All work.

Yes I reckon. After yesterdays carb choices I just managed a couple of light rides today. Managed to use Ant+ for HR strap and Bluetooth for the trainer, no dropouts yay!

Great climb you did today Keith 👍
Thx, it's the biggest climb near the house in France, though not the hardest, I came down that beast, but starting a 22kms, 4.5% climb takes a certain attitude of mind, especially after the 9kms 5.3% climb just before it. But, I'm happy it's in the tank early in the year and I'll be back to tackle it again soon.
