Because while some people are determined to overcome any difficulty in life, and will mention things only if relevant*, some people think that any difficulty should be exploited to the maximum.

*like, if people needed to be aware of dietary needs, or make allowances for a learning difficulty in a exam situation.

Stockport Council has now inspected the hole and says it doesn’t need repairing as it’s not more than 40mm deep.
But Callum’s mum Michelle Smith disputes that claim and says the point where Callum came off his bike is 40mm deep.

Contradictions like the above aside: can someone please tell me where the pothole is? I saw the photos in the article, and all I see is a slight unevenness where some road patches aren't quite smoothed out.
