I chose the name roadrash when I first joined cyclechat, sometime later someone asked if I chose it because of the playstation game , so I decided to use it, I'm actually only 2D in real life

Waiting for the Glenelg ferry after descending Sgurr na Coinnich. I had been absolutely paralysed with fear at the top, literally sitting on the ground gulping air trying not to sob. I am normally a confident descender but this was incredibly steep, incredibly narrow and with virtually no sightlines and more traffic than I'd like. Here I am sat serenely at the shore, grateful to be alive.

(Two days later, we climbed Ratagan Pass and I have to say the descent into Glen Shiel was a helluva lot worse!)

I'm unlikely to change mine, but it is a photo of a Glasgow Nextbike hire bike after I cycled it to Edinburgh and back on my birthday in 2015.

It amused me, pottering up to Edinburgh castle on a People Make Glasgow branded bike.

Theoretically the bike had 3 shimano Nexus gears, but it ended up being a random selection of 2. I took the canal, so not devastating, but my knees were not best pleased.

I "popped mi clogs" on the operating table in November '95. Carried out of Midnight Mass, by the local undertaker and his employees another time, before being placed in the rear of his works vehicle, for the trip to hospital.

I think I've cheated him. For now.
