Never sampled the combination. If the liquor was absinthe, I might be tempted.

Last weekend I visited the pie truck at Knockengorroch festival only once and had a steak and haggis pie. I was underwhelmed and wondered what led to my consumption of four or five pies per day at the same truck three years ago then I remembered that I was 'sponsored' i.e. free pies chips and beans to sit at a table next to the pie truck wearing my 'Keep Calm and Eat More Pies' hoodie.
