That's the type of device meant
Would this be a good buy?Incredible 1500mAh battery. Ha ha, you get more out of a single AA.
Only if you have mobile coverage at wherever it is you're going to use it. Mobile coverage in, wifi connection to the internet out.Would this be a good buy?
Same battery in mine, lasts the day before recharging is requiredWould this be a good buy?
Check coverage before deciding on which network.I may well give it a go. If the mobile service for the south of England crashes, I apologise!
It’s a little wifi router that connects to the mobile phone network.Thank you for this. Can you please explain exactly what this is?
Please bear in mind that you are talking to a computer Neanderthal !,
@HertzvanRental If you already have an iPhone, and you have a data allowance as part of your contract or PAYG (check your contract), then you may not need to spend money on the Mifi device you are looking at.Thank you all for your infinite patience! I've only just given up the John Bull Printing Outfit.
@Markymark will be delighted to know I have an iPhone !
It is probably fair to say that I do not use it to it's full advantage as I have only made 3 calls in 15 months!
Oh, so much to learn! I did not know this. My package has minimal data allowance so your suggestion would probaly not be viable, but a bit of knowledge that may well be useful in the future.@HertzvanRental If you already have an iPhone, and you have a data allowance as part of your contract or PAYG (check your contract), then you may not need to spend money on the Mifi device you are looking at.
If you have enough data, you can set your iPhone up as a mobile hotspot, which achieves the same thing without having to buy anything -

And unusually for an Apple product, this will work with any Wifi device - the device using the hotspot doesn't need to be an Apple anything.
