a little while ago i posted in this forum that i was getting numb feet cycling long distances in trainers. a number of folks said the problem was 'hot spots' being created by pressure from the pedals and that the way forward was to get cycling shoes and clipless pedals. well i did make the plunge and, boy oh boy, it does make a huge difference. great advice - thank you! not only has the numbness gone but cycling is much quicker. just now need to work out stops at traffic lights - not very smooth yet!
