Yes there was a bit of "oliving" to play with and a couple of interesting knots. A lot of variation in the grain too - there must have been some very dry years during the growth of the tree. I'm sitting at the table now, ooh it's so lovely!!Nice use of grain defects on the turnings, and well done for oiling it as that will give it a chance of ageing well.![]()
