A rider decided on trying some SCR with me this morning, not realising pavement cycling automatically disqualifies the rider. Despite the pavement riding and illegal short cuts, including riding across a pedestrian only area, which turned out to be alot slower than going the long legal way, they could not manage to pull away even though I was just cruising as I had decided not to join in with their SCR.
As soon as we left the town centre, the road opened up, I decided to give my legs some exercise and it was "hasta la vista" in a very short distance.

Childish I know but it was entertaining for me.

I nearly got taken out by some middle aged nobber this morning. Sat in the ASL, in front of a bus, lights change, I miss clip, so wobble to the left and this moron flies off the pavement (having undercut everyone in the traffic) and shoots right past me pedalling light a loon. Swore under my own breath as it didn't half make me jump. Needless to say, once clipped in I flew past him.

I had a race with a Doncaster council mini-truck this morning. They're limited to 20mph (according to the sign on the back). Was about 0.25 miles in front of me when I 1st saw it. Caught it after a mile and then cruised behind enjoying the tow
