I fell asleep at the Chinese State Opera once which was like sitting next to a bloke banging saucepans with a spoon.

I slept through a grenade being thrown into the room next to me - which blew the dividing wall on to me in bed... everyone rushed in to find me snoring under the ruble.

I slept through an earthquake in Chile a few years back. Mrs R awoke to find the room shaking violently and plaster falling onto the bed.
