Ta. It's the offspring who deserves the champers, though. His crashes meant it's been a *terrible* season for him in terms of fast times, but it's been great to see him grow in maturity in his attitude to not one, but two serious crashes. He's grown up a lot and developed a lot of determination to hang in there, which is good.

Well done. Thanks for posting this - there's something very uplifting about seeing someone overcoming adversity and surpassing their potential. You should both be proud.

Ta. He just loves being on his bike. he's not one of the truly superfast guys, and this season his aim to improve his times took a real knock back. But he still enjoys being on his bike and trying to improve. So that's number one rule: enjoy it.
