That's what the challenge is for just that extra little push when required

The Brampton way is a nice ride it's ridable on a road bike in summer . I would recommend starting in Market Harborough as I seem to remember it ending in a random industrial estate in Northampton , Nice cafe halfwayish at Waterloo farm cam site . Don't forget lights for the tunnels not very long but surprisingly dark . You can branch off and do a lap of Pitsford reservoir which is mainly off road

Yes, there looks to be a large free car park in the middle of Market Harborough on a Sunday, quite close to the start of the Brampton Way. Thanks for the heads up about the tunnels and the need for lights.

I did do it without lights but I would recommend it

Anyone struggling for space in their signature?

@steverob knocked up a triple bronze star a year or two ago (thanks, Steve) and it’s in media as “3-bronze-stars-jpg.11797/full” (without the quotes) – you’ll need to toggle your signature editing to BB code (RHS of the icon bar) if you want to use it.

@steverob – if you’ve got a multiple Lunacy Distance Lunar Sliver (or red chilli), could you please share it? If not, some advice on how to create one would be much appreciated!

Thanks

@bluenotebob Thanks for the callout, but in the end I had so many stars and other icons that I ended up having to compress my signature down to the "x 9" format you see below in order to not totally bust the length limitations! For that reason I didn't end up doing more multiple star icons.

But I didn't do anything all that fancy, just a copy and paste job in Paint or equivalent tool was all I used.

@steverob and @13 rider ... thanks for the comments.

I've been playing with the BB code in my signature since 2019 and I really didn't want to call in the cavalry.

I have now created 6 Bronze stars and 5 Lunar slivers - and have now got tons of room for more.

The alignment isn't perfect - that adjustment may be a job for a cold, wet day - but it'll do for now.

If anyone else reads this and wants to use the icons that I've just created, let me know.

Feeling a little left behind with all the early finishers. And I’m keen to experience that chequered tape. I’m really keen ! *Just not this keen……🙄

This weekend perhaps. Zero enjoyment in that…

A short weather window has opened up in the middle of next week: Wed/Thurs

Pressure climbs before falling back again on Friday. Perhaps a bit of morning fog to contend with - but it should be dry and not windy.

Don't know if that fits with your work commitments @sevenfourate ?

@13 rider ... you might get your December Imperial ton done then?
