October's round up ,We have 21 riders fully posted up for October and moving on to November . We have lost @bluenotebob from the challenge despite completing a ride over the qualifying distance but has chosen to post that ride into a longer distance challenge and like myself choses not to use rides in multiple challenge
Had a change of scenery this morning drove to the edge of the peak District and did a 50km Loop around Butterley 32.2 miles with 3500ft of upness it gets a bit hilly in the peaks š. Ticked off another of Simon Warrens top 75 midland climbs ,Holly lane out of Ambergate the official segment is 0.77 miles long gaining 423 ft at an average of 10.1% with a stated max of 16% (My wahoo said 17%) but it continues to climb from there total climb is 1.9 miles long gaining 643ft at an average of 5.8% so a decent climb š. I don't think I've ever spent so much time on a ride in bottom gear my Wahoo told me I did 15 climbs on the route and over half of them had red sectors meaning over 10%
