Many of you who commute tend to do so on a daily basis and I applaud you.
However, I noted a few comments a while back about the days getting harder, not easier and that a general sense of tiredness follows.
I just wanted to say that, in my opinion, a three day break from all cycling is a wonderful way to re-energise. Sounds like common sense but for me its the time period...three days. Any less doesn't feel like a rest, any more and I loose fitness.
After a three day break I return to riding and find my first ride to be really easy, with a lot of energy left over and a real sense of fresh legs. By the end of that week, I am feeling a little tired of it.
I know its tricky if cycling is your only way of getting into work but perhaps a Friday or a Monday off, will do wonders to help.
Just a thought.
