Nice pics Justiffa.
I lived in Singapore in the 60s, but I was only a child so I don't remember much, just from family pics. But we used to go to Malaya for holidays sometimes.

Thx Spinney

Coincidentally my parents were also living in Woodlands, Singapore in the 60s. Apparently I was supposed to be born there but they told me I was in too much of a hurry to see the world so instead, out I popped at the nearest hospital in Johore, Malaysia (Malaya) lol.

I've been down with flu & fever, tis the rainy season this side of the world and viruses abound.

The last exciting adventure i had with tizzy was during my first tri relay last sunday…. it was a blast.

I did the cycling leg, and my team mates did the rest.

Well, u can see for urselves how young they are, still dunno why the heck they'd want me on their team he3. oh and ignore the timing, we took the pic when there was a lull and no one was crossing the line.

Thats it, last event of 2013, we'll see what 2014 brings :wahhey:

I am lucky that theres a nature park right in my backyard, so to speak. just a 10 mins ride away, Its s nice place to go to when i'm riding solo or when i dont really hv anything lined up.

Taman Botani, Bukit Cerakah, Shah Alam. Click HERE for some background info.

These are pics from my latest visit. Here's Ms Pinky getting cozy with the horses @ Taman Haiwan (Animal Park).

We then moved over to another section to check out the 'hanging bridge' which used to be quite a common sight in the kampung (villages).

And this here is a replica of a typical malay timber house found in most kampung (village). they are on stilts mainly bcos way back when theres always a lot of wild animals eg. boars, snakes & other critters wandering around after dark. It also serves as a precaution against flooding during the rainy season.

Sundays ride… Tizzy at Fraser's Hill.

TizzyFH.jpg

Its a nice cool place to chill out but to get there, it takes about 40km of climbing up winding roads :bicycle:

Tizzy1.jpg

Just like the movie 'A walk to remember'…. here Tizzy is in two places at once hehehehe. right in the middle of the small town atop fraser's hill, is the borderline between the state of Selangor & the state of Pahang (look at the black sign post) :girldance:
