I can't see why not. Decency and brains are in no way connected. Hopkins being a perfect example: utterly without scruples, but not lacking a keen and focused intelligence.

I also share another poster's opinion that while many contestants are idiots of the first order (and have clearly been chosen for that very reason - it's never been hard to spot the fall guys right from the off) many are also very bright, very focused, very capable, and would be real assets in the right position in the right organisation.

Having said which, I felt the whole thing passed its sell by date two or three series ago, and having previously been an avid fan, decided I could no longer be bothered, and stopped watching. Can't say I've missed it.

Gobshite who tried to make himself look good by sucking up to Lord Sugar in the boardroom. AS didn't seem impressed though. Unfortunately, nobbers like this seem to ride their luck by being fortunate enough to be in the winning team and therefore ineligible for the firing.

There are far more exciting ways to cook squid than cut them into rings and cover them in batter. The squid they bought may not have been good for that purpose, but I bet would have been fine for grilling. :okay:

None of the meals looked particularly appetising I thought.

Tuna and leaves rammed into a tupperware box? Haud me back!
