There was someone recently who was a keen cyclist, was it the barman Fallon had her eye on? They went on holiday together to Ediburgh where he discovered he was gay?
Didn't one of Jamie's mates nearly crash into him?

Was that the Welsh barman or the fella who lived with Jazza for a while? Did he boot Jazza out?

The one who lived with Jazza, I don't think he kicked Jazza out though, Jazza's problem has arisen because he can't afford the rent on his own.
I missed a few episodes around that time, but I was surprised Fallon didn't seem upset. She obviously had high hopes for this holiday, I'd be a bit crushed if someone I fancied went on holiday with me then ran off with an old flame, male or female.

I kinda hoped Harry wouldn't turn out to be gay; it just seemed like too obvious a story line, and the 'clues' like Harry's posters of men on his bedroom wall seemed like lazy writing to me.

I've just been looking at the Archers page on the Radio 4 website and seemed to have ended up in some weird parallel universe called Ambridge Extra involving a storyline in New Zealand with Kenton, Mel, Jolene, psycho Lance (is he over there doing a triathlon?), an abortion and a drowning at sea!
Does anyone know what is going on, I've never heard of this?

Linda rides hers all over the place. She got a puncture the day Camilla came to visit, I think.

And poor dead Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeel took to a bike after he was banned from driving, and got quite enthusiastic about cycling.

I'd forgotten about Linda and her bike and of course Nigel.
More perusing on the Ambridge extra board has revealed why I thought I'd missed a couple of episodes when Fallon came back from Edinburgh alone, apparently it has parallel storylines while characters are away and the Harry storyline was on there.
A lot of it sounds a bit lurid.

Listening to The Archers has become the thing I listen to while waiting for the youngling to drop off to sleep (it's much better than hearing the same kid's cd over and over), so having not listened on a daily basis I have a question:

Why did Eddie have to sort out a new van recently? Didn't Will buy him a new van last year?

Or judging by recent goings on in Ambridge - Will's van turned out to have had the gearbox interferred with by Fallon, who was trying to get back at the gay cyclist by getting Eddie to SMIDSY him. Clarrie spread her pooh covered hands on the trailer causing an outbreak of Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever in a group of orphans Camilla was taking to Borchester to be slaughtered. Eddie's van was impounded by Andrew's huge POLICE tractor, so he needs a new one?

Shula rode a bike sometime in the seventies, but stopped because she was worried that her arse was going to get too big. And may I say that so great was my outrage at this big cycling arse myth that I've never listened to the wretched, stupid, ignorant, idle-brained snobfest of a programme since.

Has anything bad happened to the teenage girl pip (think that's her name) recently? I was chuffed to bits when she got dumped by the bigger boy most annoying character by a country mile. Not a regular listener to be honest.

I believe the latest storyline for Pip had her being self-righteous, trying to prove Deeeevid wrong about some farming matter then reverting back to her childlike ways as a defence.

When they had a scene with Pip and Jude slopping each other over it affected my stomach so badly Anglia water rang saying a neighbour had reported demon
like noises coming from our plumbing.
