Excellent to see some good news on the sporting front. I just hope that this is not an indication of just how widespread match fixing is in cricket. Who would have predicted England to retain the Ashes in such an excellent style? - I bet you would have had good odds on that one.

Apparently so. R4 had to play the shipping forecast and then Sailing By. Don't know why they put it on R4 anyway. Isn't R5 the sport channel?

I watched him being interviewed by Michael Holding and Atherton who teased him about it but he was very gracious, in truth. It was mainly about his breast cancer day at this test, the wearing of pink and his wife's sad demise from the disease.

I suspect the Australian players had a lot of money backing themselves to win the Ashes back! Possibly hence Ricky 'Punter' Ponting's remonstrations with the umpires in the previous Test!

My sympathy, it's no fun getting the flu (I get a jab) but here's something reassuring - we know you'll get better before the Aussies do...
