Oh dear! It had to happen!
80+ runs in arrears and will probably be facing a big total to chase and (if there isn't a major improvement in the batting) and a big defeat!

Theres a history of large 4th innings totals at Perth, the wicket is usually flat as anything come the 4th day. No need to worry yet, the games still open.

Could be an interesting finish now - enough to chase, enough spirit restored to the Australian side. Proper sport - not 'tiemekangaroodown sport', with swaggering individuals taking centre stage. Go go go! - and may the best team win...or draw

2 and a bit days to score 391 runs!
Not impossible, and as it stands at the moment, 29-1, it is very interestingly poised.
England have to bat well and show that they genuinely believe in themselves.
I, unfortunately, don't believe in them as much as they do (I remember all the bad daysof the last 30-40 years), but will love to be proved wrong.
No chance of a draw here, so either it's the Ashes retained, or the series levelled.
