Yes, he had a damned good knock, I don't dispute that. But Cooke and Trott didn't do so bad either. That's my point. To me it seems KP just can't play a match saving innings. A fair weather batsman perhaps?

Yes, yes, I know that's harsh and inaccurate. The guy just frustrates me. The talent is undeniable, it's the application that's sometimes missing. Too often it seems England have looked to him and he responds by giving his wicket away cheaply.
