Would you enforce the follow on though ? Must be knackering bowling in the heat but with a lead of 250 odd it's hard not to.
I'd be tempted to bat to get a lead of around 500, rest the bowlers, get Cook, Root & Pietersen some batting practice and entertain the crowds tomorrow.

True, but they would only have to bowl for 1.5 hours, then can rest up overnight. Look at it another way - England lose say three wickets before the close and Aus think they're back in the game.

That said, I'm pretty sure they'll decide to bat.

128 all out - England indeed bat again - little reason not to given the amount of time left in the game

England 30/3 now - I guess Pietersen should be indulged somewhat but he appears to be rather profligate with his opportunities at the moment

You shouldn't have said it. Look what happened!

England approaching a lead of 300 (which is more than enough for the Aussies) but I guess that England will hope to set them a target of 450-500 to get in six sessions.

I'm hoping to be as accurate as User482 was in his spookily correct prediction.

Didn't Bresnan get robbed of a first class ton in the warm-up game v. Essex when it was downgraded? He may have visions of making up for it!
