I remember that Aussie quip about the Brits only being able to win things in sitting-down sports. Well, it looks like they're going to add the Ashes to the list simply by sitting down and looking out of the window!
Shame, though. The Aussies have been ahead in this test from the first day.

Must admit that England have been out-played in this Test and that the Australians have been unlucky. Good to see the spirit the Aussies have played with and hope it continues into the 4th and 5th Tests, not to mention the series in Australia in the winter.
England need to replace Bairstow and Bresnan, IMO, as they are out of their depth at Test level and will come up short when the going gets tough.
Compton/Taylor in for Bairstow and Tremlett/Onions in for Bresnan.

KP is a South African playing for England so that gives the Aussies double reason to hate him!
The rivalry is fierce between South Africa and Australia and I witnessed that when I attended a test match in Johannesburg accompanying a flag waving Aussie. We sat in the Aussie section of fans and were bombarded with beer cans from the home fans. On the plus side I did get to meet David Boon and Merv Hughes after the game who wondered what a pommie was doing watching South Africa play Australia.
