The back brakes on my Dutch bike have broken, can anyone help me figure out how to fix it?

Hello! I recently bought a Dutch bike (used) and the back brake snapped as I was riding today. I took it into Evans Cycles and they weren't able to help as they didn't have the part. They told me to look on eBay but I'm struggling to find a solution to fix it.

I am a novice rider and bought the bike to commute from A-Z. Is anyone familiar with these bikes and how their parts work? I can't find a bike shop that specialises in these bikes and I'm also unsure what Model it is.

I've uploaded a photo of the bike as well as the damaged part. Anyyyyy help would be VERY APPRECIATED.

THANK YOU BIKE FAM.

These people should be able to help:
https://hollandbikeshop.com/en-gb/b...cle-brakes/brake-cable/drum-brakes-cable-set/
Should be fairly straightforward to install. Here's a helpful artiyon drum brakes from Sheldon Brown.

You'll need a few simple tools. Is that a Nexus gear hub? Obviously you'll need to disconnect that but it's not difficult.
Good luck.

I can't help with the repair, but I can recommend hollandbikeshop.com having purchased from them on several occasions. Always received excellent service

It's a roller brake, so a better article is https://sheldonbrown.com/rollerbrakes.html

Some Shimano hub parts are not available as spares, which is why I upgraded to SA drum brakes.

Looks like part of the torque arm assembly for the rear hub brake? Might not be available as a spare on it's own, but a good bike shop that employs engineers or artisans should be able to fabricate something to do the job. Good luck.

The disc looks chewed and the arm bent. I think it may be new unit time. It may be https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/brakes/...rdx-rear-roller-brake-with-m10-x-82mm-washer/ but if any markings on the current unit are readable, asking sjs or Holland bike shop about them may reveal the possible replacements that will fit.

I think the disk is just for cooling, so it may not matter. Looks like two things are missing - attachment of the torque arm to the chainstay, which is a sort of p-clip on my partner's bike, also the cable stop which Stephanie has in her hand. I don't know how that should be attached though, it's a different arrangement to ours - probably part of the frame rather than part of the brake?
