Not that bright then if he was bailed the previous day for the same offence ................

A pic of him would help alert cyclists should he be near a bike.

That's not fair, you made me visit the Daily Mail website...
Can't someone post it so we all don't have to go there?

If the cops don't advocate reporting crime via Twitter instead preferring traditional means of contact eg tefeloning 999 or this new number 101, it begs the question, what was this Dimbleby who was on Twitter doing? He can't have been doing any work as it is not a recognised means of communication for plod, so most likely wasting tax payers, that is yours and my cash.

Perhaps there's an explanation where people were doing their jobs. The force's Twitter will presumably be watched and used in first instance by GMP's Comms team. If somebody there was sharp enough to pass it on to operational units then it's a good job all round.

Do I need to get the spray plaster out?

Our police twitter accounts round here are used lots by the police, again not for reporting but they do answer lots of questions and also advise things I have found them really helpful on questions I have had I think they use twitter around here as a sort of PR kind of thing they also advertise on their where their beat surgeries will be and which are the "Feds on Peds" in which villages & when if you want to see them
