Thanks all. A day of watching back to back films + reading the very positive replies here) and a double dose of sleeping tablets has me about half way out of the hole.

Many of the suggestions usually work for me. Exercise, focus, beautiful objects but sometimes not. I am not a textbook case What I am is on my way back up
