Got the bit about the Welsh wrong (they left it rather later than I thought despite walloping Owen Glendower) and I thought it was canal builders who didn't arrive in the middle ages.

11 but pot lucked a couple, but got question 1 wrong by including N.Ireland....

Yes, 11/15 for me, I got the first question there wrong too.

The 3 others I got wrong was the one about the Welsh Laws..... I'm Scottish, how the feckery should I know that?
Then the tradesman one, I mean, it could have been one of several there. I picked Canal builders as I thought they would have been a bit later, Thomas Telford and all that.
Finally, the NHS one - I always seem to get Atlee and Eden mixed up!

10/15 for me too. Didn't even know that we even built any canals between the Romans leaving at around 400 AD and the Duke of Bridgewater needing to move his coal in the early 17th century. I also would have said that it was nearer half of the population that perished due to the black death and and as far as I know the post of Prime Minister was not invented until the turn of the last century up until then they were known as the First Lord of the Treasury I think.

I failed to see the relevance of any one question to life in Britain today.
Ahhh....not a history fan then. Without the history we have had, we wouldn't be the people we are today. If you want to understand today's society in full, then you need to know how it came about.
