We called them ice pops.

Ice lolly.

Just lolly on its own is a probably an ice lolly but any confectionery on a stick could possibly be described as a lolly. However a non iced sugary stick mounted thing is more likely to be a lollipop.

That's how I see it.

The stick is essential for lolliness.

The Internet suggests that "lolly ice" is only a Liverpool thing. I am curious though; Do scousers also use the phrase "cream ice" for frozen dairy treats?
