A big fan of the local buses here, arms length council owned Lothian Regional Transport, always room for improvement but generally a terrific service. Also hearing great things about Ember for the long distance routes, haven’t tried them yet. And all for free on my over-60 bus pass

I used two coaches this morning both flixbus.

First a yontung thing very noisy sitting over the back axle.

The an Israr much more refined despite having the same daf and zf drivetrain. I bet one had hydraulic engine mounts and the other didn't?

I'd love to use the bus but our service is two hourly. When I did use it to go into Carlisle I was terrified about missing the return and having to wait another two hours for the next. And being in Scotland we don't have the capped fares that England does so sadly it's cheaper to drive and pay to park.

Lefty tighty. Get it righty.
I like London buses. A great way of getting around. That's the bus service in general rather than the buses themselves.

Mrs D qualifies for a disabled bus pass, although the buggers dont half make you jump through hoops to get it. Probably a nasty and deliberate tactic to keep the numbers down.

If we're going into town and were not in a hurry we'll take the bus, although our local council are one of the few that charge full whack for carers so I have to get my change purse out every time.
