Not heard of this before but could be something worth avoiding if you're planning to go on the bike that day.

I have a feeling they won't be driving particularly carefully.

I've not actually been to buttertubs myself so someone else might be able to comment whether cars and bike s can mix round there.

I would say they will be intending to drive at a "brisk" pace, though Buttertubs is not a road you can go hugely fast on. If there's really a couple of hundred cars going on this, then it's probably best to give it a miss if you're out on the bike.
